Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 3.

Manchester ‘the new Arsenal’ United try and do better this weekend in the first fixture of the gameweek when they face Brighton, that 4th place won’t win itself you know.

That is followed by Palace taking on Everton. A match up of two low to mid table two teams tied for top of the league on points.

West Brom will be looking to get their first point of the season when they play host to Chelsea. The Baggies forwards will be on high alert in case the Chelsea keeper is looking for his second assist of the season.

In the last game of the day Burnley will take on Southampton and their revolutionary tactics.

Sunday sees four more fixtures all nicely spread out. The early game pits a team headed back to the Championship in Sheffield United versus a team who just came from the Championship in Leeds, should be a fun watch. Leeds will do their best to make it a 4-3 game while The Blades do their best to make it a -4 to -3 game.

Spurs versus Toon is next on the Sunday menu where the on, off, back on Son train will look to reward his fickle owners and the loyalists who were with him from day one.

Man City then takes on first place Leicester in what should be an intriguing game.

The last of the bunch on this second day of action pits the mighty Hammers (heehee) vs Jimi and the Wolves.

Monday arrives with a two game meal and once again they’re conveniently spread out for us. The first is the bad appetizer in Fulham going up against Villa. But it’s ok, you went to the restaurant for the steak not the appetizer. And that steak will taste delicious as Liverpool sends Arsenal fans back to the cave where they belong as chants of ‘Arteta is not your saviour’ can be heard from the Kloppites.

The games in full…

Should Vardy miss the next week, who would you replace him with? Richarlson or DCL?

A rival in my ML is only on 10pts from his WC so far, Eagle. But he has a couple left to play.

Hey guys, early thoughts on next GW
Planning to give Werner a couple of more weeks. His intended replacement Jimi got a 0 this GW so that’s probably why I’m holding off.
Also Ben Davies close to a price drop. so planning to keep an eye on that and make a transfer of he drops in the next few days. Who would you get in ?
Start Lascelles vs Burnley and buy Dunne and drop him kn the bench ? Would leave me 1.5 mil for future transfers (possibly to bring Salah in a couple of GWs after downgrading Werner if ge doesn’t cut it)
    1 FT and 0.5 itb

    Hi all,
Not sure on my next move? Who from Doherty, Werner or Traore should go next and who for? 1FT and 1.4ITB.

@Mr. GO, you can make a case for selling any of them. It depends who you have your eyes on I guess. If you sell Timo who would you get in his place and of considerably cheaper what would you do with the extra money? Traore would be a small downgrade at best, but there are plenty of good options slightly cheaper than him. Doherty similar to Traore, plenty of options cheaper than him that are doing well.

Hard to drop a player before Fulham. Really hard one. I really think I probably drop Traore and give Werner one more week, but if you went the other route that would make sense also. Doherty feels less problematic to me while being something I want to change also. Maybe because defenders have less upside so it doesn’t feel like one is missing out big when they don’t produce, but he needs changing also if he is going to continue to produce next to nothing.

Guys any views on this wc team please?

@Man u man, With Mitchell and Dunne likely to make way sooner rather than later it looks like you will be trotting out Anguissa or Stephens every GW, that’s like almost playing with 10 every week. Rest of the squad looks great and I assume you have nothing left in the bank, but those last 4 cheap field players will at some point force you to make transfers if things go the way one would expect. Having said that, not sure where you would squeeze out the extra .5 or 1.0 to make the team look better. That would obviously involve dropping someone you probably really want in your side. Watch Anguissa today and see if he looks a threat to get anything, even if he doesn’t but at least shows himself capable of getting points on occasion maybe you have it right and should just stick with the team you posted.

Thanks Mito, I watched Anguissa last week and was pretty impressed with him, I’m not expecting huge hauls from him, but I figured I could rotate him and mitchell on occasion. I reckon it’s worth a chance to have the rest of the team I have, for now anyway. No doubt this will change. smile

I feel a bit silly now, I think you’re right.
