Fantasy Premier League £500 Regulars League 2019/20
Hello everyone and welcome back to the FF247 Regulars League(s).
The purpose of this article is so that our Regulars League has a permanent home for reference points throughout the season such as cup draws and the like. It is permanently linked on our Hot Topics just above the latest comments.
As usual we will have a Regulars Classic League and we also have H2H leagues with promotion and relegation as well as a Regulars Cup starting in January.
We do have a main FF247 league and that is open to every man/woman and their dog. There is no autolink facility available from FPL yet but if you wish to join that one, for which there will also be a prize, the code is;

The Regulars League is a bit more selective. You have to be a member of FF247 and you have to post comments in the community here on a regular enough basis to be easily recognisable, and posting is monitored by the way.
Its not hard to join, e-mail me (Elle) at the address below and leave these details for me.
1- Your site user name.
2- Your real name.
3- Your team name from last season and new team name if it has changed. New members, just your team name.
These leagues are free to join but you do need to mail me. Deadline is midnight on the 6th August for the H2H leagues as I’ll need time to promote people if we have drop-outs. The Classic Regulars League can remain open for longer. Get mailing folks :- elleffcee@gmail.com
All we ask is that if you enter the league please keep the league code to yourself and don’t share it with friends and family who don’t frequent the site. It’s a community only league and we would like to keep it that way.

If Zaha were to leave CP and join Everton before the start of the season, could the game administrators adjust (most likely increase) his price?
Nah, his price is set. Never known them to change someone’s price once the game comes out.

Everyones prices are set in stone now if they are in the game already. Changing clubs won’t affect their position or prices. You can potentially have 4 players from the same team if they move to a club where you have 3 players already. But I think on your next transfers, you will have to move 1 out.

That basically looks like the team I mentioned earlier also, if we spend enough time with one another on here we all end up on the same sinking ship.

We do need to be wary of echo chambers
Looks fine to me, makes perfect sense. I suppose Coleman could be relegated and Zaha upgraded (to one of the Everton mids, having lost Coleman?)
At some point I’m going to look at what a more traditional defence (2 expensiveish, 1 cheap) can bring to the rest of the side. But for now the two Liverpool idea can quickly be amended with 2FT as / when needed.

Long is the one that sticks out like a sore thumb to me, could be good value, but his first….14 GWs
doesn’t provide a decent stretch of games.
I can see the logic of Alisson but you may regret not being able to bring in one of their full backs / another outfield player. And if going with Alisson you may as well ditch Ryan for a 4m goalie – that spare bread may come in handy.
My first draft. Going to rotate captaincy between auba and kane, Dann is a placeholder for any 4.5 mil cry defender that appears to be 1st choice, cry cover trippers tricky fixtures nicely. I like JWP at 6 mil, set piece involvement and pens when ings isn’t on the pitch. Currently have zaha but will switch to a differential if one becomes apparent in pre season.
I thought about JWP, but his fixtures are not great, I still agree though about his possibilities on picking up points in different ways. Kane and Auba captaincy switch looks good as long as LFC doesn’t start scoring 4 or 5 a game.
The thing with JWP/Mili/siggy type players is their points can come in any game. Set pieces are awarded in every game. That’s there appeal. However you need to set and forget and ride out the blanks (very much harder said than done) as for Liverpool banging I’d replace kane with someone and upgrade siggy to Salah. I am hesitant to start will Salah in gw 1 due to the African cup of Nations.
Murray started last season pretty well and got some ok fixtures, so that could turn out ok.
But I’m missing some Liverpool up front, and in the back for that matter…

You will want more than 1 Liverpool player.
It feels so early to be looking at my team already. Seemed like a very short break. Looking forward to the new season and hopefully contributing on here more this season.

Very safe and strong all over
I like the side a lot – I’ve just posted a silly side but when looking at it seriously I’m dithering over Vardy v Kane.
Having Vardy helps enable other things, as you’ve clearly shown. I can’t quite make my mind up over 3 or 4 at the back.
I had a quick look at Arsenal’s fixtures with Zaha in mind then looked away. Perhaps I should look closer as his ownership is huge at the moment – second only to Salah.
