Fantasy Premier League Set-Piece Takers 2020-21

Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Set-Piece Takers 2020-21.

Please find below the FF247 Set Piece Takers List for 2020-21. This list is a guide that we hope will help you select players that have the potential to bring in goals and crucial assist points. The table is based on information gathered from last season’s games, Opta stats, pre-season friendlies and FF247 community input.

The article itself is archived under the tab at the top of the page entitled ‘SET-PIECE TAKERS’ so you can refer back to it at any time, as are many of our other articles and helpful tools such as Fixture Tracker and Weekly Tips.

Please be aware that this list is subject to change due to player injuries, drop in form, suspensions, manager whims, etc. The list will be updated throughout the season and as ever we welcome anybody in our community to inform us if you are aware of any updated roles or indeed anything you think we have got wildly inaccurate! You’re not perfect and neither are we.

      Mito,

Thanks for this. On a number of teams, I presume the order is based on the assumption the players are actually on the pitch? Also, do you think De Bruyne’s miss against ‘Pool will change anything?

      • @Ki, I haven’t been part of the KdB was first in line crowd, probably a bit controversial in fpl circles. smile

I always had Kun first. All the pens that KdB took in the last season never had Aguero on the pitch and I was still holding out to see it.

Yeah it is based if they are actually on the pitch, it is something that I have always wondered if I should change but at what point do I cut players off. Say in terms of minutes? For instance Milner. Should he really be included in corners and pens? Does he play enough minutes to warrant inclusion and if I take him off who else do I have to start excluding? Funnily enough I started dropping some from the UCL set pieces list, but that is shorter term and if a player is not involved in several games they pretty much have missed the league. :laugh2:

If you ever want to know stats about certain takers, just let me know. I can tell you exactly how many each player has taken in terms of free kicks, corners, free kick crosses, pens or whatever.

        Here are some current stats….
