….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be made. Let’s see what the committee decided for this week…

…well frankly they bottled it and saved the free transfer, most likely scared of selling someone who is bound to deliver a brace at the weekend! In all fairness the team looks ok for this weekend (famous last words) so the logic is understandable, although the loyalty to the Leicester boys may prove ill-founded. Two free transfers ahead of BGW28 should also be an advantage.
To confirm then we have HELD our transfer.

Mo Salah wears the armband again with the hope that he will destroy West Ham. Just liked we hoped he’d destroy Norwich last week. TAA is the vice-captain.

Very tempted by KDB to Mane for a hit. Concerned KDB will get benched and even if he doesn’t he has a tricky fixture then a blank.

He’s been the one constant in their line-up. Plus it’s hardly like he busted a gut in midweek, he’d have had a harder game playing with his kids in the back garden.
Doesn’t that increase the appeal of Mane, who would have a harder game this week if he played his kids? :wacko:

KDB is season keeper. Play then bench next GW. You have cash to upgrade your non LFC defenders to TAA/Robbo/VVD?
Could bump Lundstram up to Robbo. Not sure it’s worth a hit though. Next week perhaps.

Question.. if I play my free hit chip now how will that effect the transfer I’ve already done?
Reason is I made an early TF this week bringing in Mane for KDB (which made sense at the time) however Son then goes and breaks his arm so I wish I’d waited and swapped Mane for him instead.
Thinking if I use free hit chip, i can then get rid off son for Mane and I’ll have KDB back,
Also I bought him at 10m and sold at 10.4 as he’s now 10.8 so hoping I’d keep the value in him too?
I suppose I’m asking will the free hit cancel my early TF and then next week put me back in the position I was before selling KDB
It should do but regardless is it really worth it in relation to the decimation you will probably find come GW31?

This is currently my team, thinking of rolling my FT or do you think I should make a move? Surely mahrez plays this weekend? I have 0.1 ITB

Team looks fine – though players could be a bit thin on the ground next week. I’d captain Salah unless you’re throwing caution to the wind in an attempt to catch up.
Debating whether to take out aguero for jiminez. Do we know the likelihood of aguero playing this weekend or whether he will be rested
Nobody knows. I’m airing on the side of caution and removing him, bearing in mind I would have done so next week anyway with his blank. Jimenez looks good for you for that purpose.
