Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW27.

“Sacked in the morning, you’re getting sacked in the morning”

….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be made. Let’s see what the committee decided for this week…

Our GW26 Result…

Our GW27 Transfer(s)
…well frankly they bottled it and saved the free transfer, most likely scared of selling someone who is bound to deliver a brace at the weekend! In all fairness the team looks ok for this weekend (famous last words) so the logic is understandable, although the loyalty to the Leicester boys may prove ill-founded. Two free transfers ahead of BGW28 should also be an advantage.

To confirm then we have HELD our transfer.

Captain – Mo Salah
Mo Salah wears the armband again with the hope that he will destroy West Ham. Just liked we hoped he’d destroy Norwich last week. TAA is the vice-captain.

Stuck with Traore and Dendo and have 1 Wolves spot left.
    (1) Sell Aguero and buy Jim, next week improve midfld
    Or,
    (2) Sell Soyun/Lunds and buy Boly

Ok, so im doing Soyuncu->Boly, but who do I replace Boly with in the starting line-up?

      Kralin says:

I’ve kept Soyuncu (Leicester’s improved fixtures) but to answer your question I’d play Boly ahead of Fernández.

I don’t mean this in a bad way but I bet you’re kicking yourself for not getting in Henderson (Liv) a few weeks ago when you were considering that move. Very much an instance of where playing your own game would have paid off handsomely. But anyway, onwards.

      • hammerfan_lm says:

Thats the problem I have with ditching Soyuncu.
I have 2xFT but nothing in the bank.
No other players stand out that I can maybe get rid of.
DCL and Vardy are possibles, but Vardy would only be for one week.
DCL is an option, but not many others available for his price and below.
Other than that, Dendoncker and Cantwell, but they are cheap.

        • Kralin says:

I’m keeping Cantwell as there’s a fairly good chance Norwich will play in GW31. However if you can enable Boly for someone other than Soy then your side will probably be stronger.

Otherwise don’t overthink it, ditch Soy and be done with it.

As much as I’m not keen, I’m gonna stick with my team this week.
I know I have 2 transfers, but if I ditch Soyuncu, I have to figure out how to get him back next week as Leicester’s fixtures are alot better. Same if I did Vardy to Jimenez.
Doesn’t help by having alot of funds tied up in midfield but that is where I am getting the points
only alternative is to do Fernández to Saiss

I did Son -> Mané this week and captained him too (he played fewer minutes than Salah in mid-week). Bring on GW27 and things getting back to nornal!

    A) robbo and boly
    B) vvd and Doherty

If i bin Kun i’ll have 13.1 to spend, who would you bring in to go with Jimmy and Ings, Firmino possibly ?

    Elleffcee says:

Back to this, 1ft and 1.0 itb. Want to bin Kun, i think, not sure who to get in.

      Kralin says:

Why not DCL, he said keenly, not picking up that his advice was being completely ignored.

Have a chew over Vardy, Elleffcee, thinking long-term – sort of opposite of DCL in that his form’s been poor but the fixtures are good (after City).

Maybe you should just do as your heart desires, and get Firmino?

      • theswirly says:

Ah, balls! Yeah, I’d go one of either Vardy or Firmino. Vardy has the nice fixtures once he’s passed Man City (also a team he’s not unfamiliar with scoring against), whilst Firmino has the recent form and does have nice fixtures too (though there aren’t many that are bad for Liverpool!). I’m not sure how much that would leave you with, but perhaps you could then upgrade Noble to someone like Martial or Fernandes in a 3-4-3?

If you don’t mind taking a hit, could you afford Mahrez and Aguero to Mane and Vardy?
