Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!

Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Our first installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season is ready. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that we look like a Tiger Woods tee shot. So glad to get the fellas back together as they offer their opinions on everything from going without Haz & Kun to Giroud’s choice of underwear. So without further ado, let’s ask our “experts” some questions on the minds of many and some on the minds of none.

  1. Hey fellas, any thoughts on this draft? 1st time I’ve posted it on the boards, just trying to get a feel for balance.

    Ruddy Rudd
    Ivan Cedric Francis O’Shea 4.5
    Hazard Cazorla/Sterling Ramsey Hendo Anya
    Aguero C. Wilson J-Rod

    .5 ITB

Few questions: Best 4.5 Sunderland defender? Would you prefer Ivan and Sterling or Azpi and Silva? Spend my final .5 on a rotating keeper or go all in with Norwich and save points? laugh

  2. Found this loyalty card quite amusing.

  3. Ok Mito, Man City coverage installed in this version but no Man U coverage. Thoughts?

  4. Great read. I love Grab,Avoid or Bore, delighted ifs back smile

Been away most of the evening and I’m a bit confused is De Gea leaving United or what??

    • Probably and most likely.

      • Ah right so who’s in for him because I seen Real Madrid bought a keeper today called Casilla. Hope he does go as United won’t have a keeper then I believe smile

        • Don’t United still have Valdes?

        • They’re getting rid of him

        • Lindegaard or Loris it is then?

        • Ye LVG says Valdes will never play for United. Forgot about Lindegaard actually. And Lloris has fractured his wrist so could be out for a while.

        • I’ve heard Romero, the Argentinian keeper is close to signing. I assume as a replacement for Valdes.

        • Ah right I honestly don’t see him leaving but people change their minds.

    • I have a feeling he’ll play for us this season then bog off to Madrid next summer for nothing. We wont do a deal unless it’s worth it.

      • I’m all for sticking it to Real as the way they just take any player they want pisses me off no end, but it’s cutting off our nose to spite our face. Letting him go on a free next season would be absolutely disgraceful if we could get 25+ mil for him now. No player is worth 25+ mil for one year’s play.

The state of things with player contracts now is so ridiculous how they can hold it over clubs. If he’s set on leaving anyway he should be able to be offered a new contract under the agreement that he will be sold next year anyway. He’ll get more this season and United get paid next summer. Everyone wins except Real 😛

        • That’s the problem, his contract is almost up so Madrid are trying to get him on the cheap. I reckon we’re better off keeping him for a season than giving him up for £15m or some shit. You never know, he might be the deciding factor in getting us a trophy of some sort. Having said that, i’d take £20m + Navas in a heartbeat.

        • Yeah I’d take that deal. If we could get Lloris then I wouldn’t really be too bothered about it all either, though he went and broke his wrist or something I think.

        • Yeah Lloris is a good keeper. Shame he gets injured so much. Kinda like Foster in that way.

  5. Thanks for putting this together, it’s always a bit of fun smile
