Grab, Avoid or Bore off!

Our first installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season is ready. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that we look like a Tiger Woods tee shot. So glad to get the fellas back together as they offer their opinions on everything from going without Haz & Kun to Giroud’s choice of underwear. So without further ado, let’s ask our “experts” some questions on the minds of many and some on the minds of none.

    Morning all!!!

Think I’m getting a bit closer to finalising my team.

    What do you think?

Wouldnt you change Fab > Sterling/Yaya

I don’t think you need Fab as you have Haz and Cost. Go for City coverage,

And if anything happens to your first three defenders I think you are done for. I’m sure those two sub defenders are non-starters.

      • Andy says:

+1 on the defenders, the three that you’ve got in the starting 11 have never played a game yet for there clubs yet either so they all carry a risk warning, I’d probably downgrade Depay to inject a little bit of cash into it if needed.

Have to agree with Ant as well Man City coverage is a must, they score too many goals to avoid offensive coverage.

Thoughts? Still considering GK rotation and defence investment, also looking at Wally’s cost/benefit vs Cazorla/Ramsey

I personally would go for two playing 4.5 GKs who defintely play. Personal taste but there are a few good options.

I like the options you have in your defence. Morgan could be a worry.

If Walcott played every week I’m sure we’d all have him. I’m on Ramsey just now. Really like the look of that attacking seven.

      • Burnsy says:

Hmm I’ll look into that, perhaps Ruddy and Schmeichel and then a 5.5

I’ve been considering Everton defence for a while now, whats your thoughts on them GP? If only Stones was 5.0m :p

        • Burnsy

Unreliable usually mate. Coleman and Baines attacking returns and the odd goal from Jagielka aside, they don’t ever really inspire clean sheets for me so I never lean towards them unless they are about to have a really good run of fixtures and even then it’s not a certainty I’m go for one of them.

Morning Guys. Just seen the Galaxy result and Robbie had a blinder. Not doing the MLS fantasy but am a bit more interested now that Stevie and the likes have gone over.

One quick question? Should I have the 2 Norwich goalkeepers or should I downgrade Ki or Mahrez to Arter or Pugh at 5.0 mil and upgrade Rudd?
