Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2019-20
Guess who’s back, back again….
With the fpl season getting closer and closer to starting, it is of course time for Bore Off to also kickoff. I have gathered the three originals, as is tradition for each first edition of the new season. As always a new season brings new hope. Hopefully this article helps a little, but not too much.
Looking back through the first Bore Off from last season, I noticed that the Amigos had many things right. All 3 had Salah as the first person in their team sheet, they were all for the LFC double up in midfield with Mane, which would have worked out well for any manager who did. Cookie and Kop were talking about a back four and in Cookie’s case he was talking up a 5 back. Cookie was ahead of his time! Init had his eye on Milivojevic and Cookie said this “Mili is obviously great for a penalty every time Zaha falls over”. Kop talked about a possible golden boot for Auba and was hopeful that Allison would sign for LFC.
Hopefully they can replicate some of their good calls for this upcoming season, let’s see what they have to say.
Thanks for reading Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!. This article was written by Mito21.

Any comments on my line up???
Refreshing to see someone who’s Investing in forwards these days. The teams lacks some city players, and I think that’s a pretty big problem, otherwise it looks good…
Is Hart going to play mate?
Doubt it. Should be Pope but I’d want to see him play in the friendly at the weekend
Draft number ‘x’ million!!
RYAN
SHAW ROBERTSON
Draft number ‘x’ million!!
RYAN
SHAW, ROBERTSON, ZINCHENKO, DIGNE
SALAH (C), STERLING, L.MOURA, TRAORE
KANE (VC), WOOD
BENCH: BUTTON, LUNDSTRAM, DENDONCKER, GREENWOOD
Risk areas are:
Shaw (can easily be changed to Wan-B)
Zinchenko (to decide after Comm Shield match – Angelino could come in who is cheaper and frees up cash elsewhere)
Traore (minutes not guaranteed, but in pre-season has been playing as a wide-forward)
Lundstram (played more pre-season minutes at center mid than any other Sheffield player)
Any particular thoughts anyone? Greatly appreciated
Lucas Moura would also only be in until GW3 when Son returns and then can transfer to one of many 7.5M midfielders such as Fraser, Mili, Zaha, D Silva, Perez, Maddison to name a few.
I would go AWB rather than Shaw
Zinchenko is fine.
Traore may be as good as it gets about 5.0 but Wolves are in the Europa League as well just now and I expect rotation.
Lundstram could be OK but again no guarantees he’ll play the proper games.
I really like the Wood pick – I have him currently.
Looks like Juve will accept £36m plus Danilo for their Portuguese right back Cancelo
Cancelo was probably best player for Juve last season! Would be a great deal for city
Yup, any change he’ll come in at 5.5m? 😉
Would be atleast 6 or 6.5!
Think he will be 6.5m, 6.0m and he’s in my team…
Prob 6.
Which draft looks better?
I would say the 1st, Consider if you like, Lucas Moura for GW1 and then switch to Perez after assessing his first game. Son is expected back GW3 and Moura has a decent opening fixture
Draft 1 Snooks and I’m not sure why. Just initial reaction really.
Hi guys! Back for another season… resisted posting for help past few weeks, but think I have it boiled down to these two… appreciate any thoughts you have and be as cruel as you like! Cheers
Or…
Not keen on Kane for opening fixture vs Aston Villa at home?
Kane has been my main headache! Basically between him and Sterling (as I dont want to lose KDB or Salah). I can get all 4 in, but it is too much of a sacrifice for rest of the team I think
Like this… too compromised isn’t it?
Yep, I’d agree with you there – a starting 11 including Diop, Mings and Joelinton (and possibly also Barkley although I currently have him) would worry me.
Team 1 for me. Too much sacrificed for Vardy in team 2.
The first one is great, very similar to mine so obviously I do like it
Haha cheers Zeppelin
