International break time always means a Bore Off.
I have gathered three of my esteemed colleagues and have asked them to answer some questions for us as best they can. Please welcome Loud Atlas who is making his debut on Bore Off. Joining him in this edition is old fart favourite Kop and the Scottish fantasy legend Gallant Pioneer.

Well, Bruno will be coming for Salah in that case. He will be number one candidate for the armband anyway. The second FT has already been designated for TAA replacement. The plan to get Werner for Jimi might be put on hold, unless I take a hit.
Probably Fernandes and Chillwell there, will give enough funds for Son to KDB the week after if you wished.
SF, I already have Zouma. Don’t think I fancy two Chelski at the back. For now, maybe Cresswell but that could change. And yeas, most likely Son will become KDB.
All that, providing that no more players get tested positive.
Prob Fernandes and Chilwell. I’d prefer a Chelsea double up than a West Ham defender. Depends on strategy though and what you do with extra cash in truth
I was holding out on using my FT until after the international but with Salah out, I’ve made the move to Bruno before the price changes.
Later this GW it will likely be Wilson & Mitchell to Werner & Coufal for -8
Then Kane & Barkley to Adams & KDB for -4 next week
I’ll still have Saiss to sort out !
Why and now what if Bruno gets Covid? Surely that sort of news tells you to wait
That is what I was thinking, too scared to rush with such an early transfer for the sake of -+01.
Who would you captain from this bunch? Hands are tied with zero cash and 0 FT.

I agree on the bench, but my previous bench kept not playing, and I think I have now gone to the other extreme, I usually play only 3 at the back and focus on upfront that’s why I choose AVL and Utd def
I was thinking between KDB and Fernandes, still cannot make my mind up
I’d have both and ditch either Spurs players on a wildcard. One might be sensible for form but fixtures and form to an extent say they will probably regress a bit
So which 2 out of Fernandez, KDB and mane

Salah getting COVID has thrown all my meticulous planning out the window :rofl:
Here’s what I’m thinking now
This week: Salah >> Fernandes
GW 10: Son >> KDB
GW 11: save FT, or maybe Bellerin >> Cancelo (will decide with more info)
GW 12: Kane >> Bamford/Watkins/Adams and Rodriguez >> Salah, and maybe Zaha >> Grealish if I saved the FT last week (otherwise in GW 13)
Hopefully nothing will happen to mess up my plan now, though surely at least one of my players will get Covid or get injured lol
Don’t know how much cash you have, but probably best to save FT if you need two moves for Son to KDB or Fernandez.
Who are you going to captain…that is the bigger dilemma (for me at least).

I’m wondering that too, I would have surely captained Salah. I’m thinking Fernandes when I bring him in, at home to West Brom seems as good a fixture as any to captain a premier midfielder who’s in form. Just worried United may struggle against them if they play defensively deep
Not fancy captain DCL vs Fulham?
DCL is a good option too, I guess we subconsciously tend to favour more expensive players as captain choices

I would bench Salah, which I’m doing.
Also I’m not buying into the “sell Spurs attack bandwagon”
both are in form and unless injured I’d be keeping both tbh..
Kane can score against ANY team & Son will burn you as soon as you sell him.
If you’re after Bruno maybe JRod & Zaha could make way?
I’m holding onto Kane for at least two more GWs and will reassess then. How would you suggest raising the funds to upgrade JRod or Zaha? Problem is I also want KDB for City’s fixtures from GW10 so I don’t really see anyway to avoid sacrificing Son
JRod and Zaha also both have great fixtures for the next three
How many goals do you really think Spurs are going to score on this run. It’s not exactly a bandwagon. Part of the reason Spurs have scored so many goals is they haven’t had this opposition. Yeah they will still score and yeah I’m not necessarily saying sell all but those teams are all fairly decent defensively

It’s often a good tactic to have the backup keeper so you have a guaranteed player if the main man gets injured.
But as you have found, it uses a space if the team becomes attractive.
Personally this year I’ve gone down the rotation route in case we get a Covid game cancellation
I’ve fiddled round with the non-playing goalie in the past when I’ve had 2FT and no other logical move. Last year I brought in a 3.9 goalie – Button, I think it was – and that 0.1 did make a difference when I made my transfers the following week.
I think it’s an all right thing to do if you have nothing else to do, especially if it helps fill the coffers.
