International break time always means a Bore Off.
I have gathered three of my esteemed colleagues and have asked them to answer some questions for us as best they can. Please welcome Loud Atlas who is making his debut on Bore Off. Joining him in this edition is old fart favourite Kop and the Scottish fantasy legend Gallant Pioneer.

It’s wide open this week. As good as shout as any
Seems fine to me. Vardy, Jiminez, Werner, the Villa guy – all seem good forward captain options as well this week.
I haven’t really thought through what I’m going to do yet, other than survey the wreckage of my side and blub a little. If I get Fernandes in I may captain him – but I may just bench Salah.
If he gets through the England games unscathed, I think he’s a great choice. I’m toying with Werner too.
I was think vardy, bad as a pool fan. But their back line was open even before all the injuries
If I owned Vardy I’d have no hesitation in captaining him!

I’m on DCL atm. Both Brazil and Columbia play Tuesday night so I don’t think jetlag is a problem for Sunday’s game.
Having said that; just like the site regulars; I could change to Bruno, Werner or Grealish by Friday.
DCL has scored in every game except one where he got an assist and one with no goal.
This may be it if he doesn’t have Covid
Son is going to have his covid test soon. Entire Korea team trained together and 4 of them are identified positive.
Is this week going to get any worse! Perhaps donate me injuries to Kane and Grealish in the belgian game !

I don’t get how the Covid protocols within football work! Alan Browne who played for Ireland against England during the week tested positive the following day. However, none of the Irish squad are deemed close contacts. Really?!!
I thought they were quite harsh on Alan’s performance. They said he did not get near anyone

With all these injuries (I have Wilson and Rashford) and COVID-19 scares (I have Salah and Son) and police arrests (maybe I have him?! Only time will tell…) I think all I can do is leave it until nearer the deadline and then reassess.

So heres where i sit, 1 ft and 0.5 Itb, 2 ideas in the order I like them.
1. Son to Ziyech and Brewster to Watkins (bench salah) -4
2. Salah to Bruno (then make him captain)
Only issue with 2 would be getting Salah back
Prob alright to save and just play Brewster currently
Brewsters game time is my only worry. Sheffield not scoring much either.
Well he’s 4.5 but it’s only a week and it saves the -8 taking Salah out and bringing him back in. It depends really. Watkins for example has all his points in two games and could easily blank
Fair point, villa just playing well, and hes looking more confident in his role
Not really sure. He played well in two games against Liverpool and Arsenal both teams with high lines. He did not look like doing anything in easier games (larger sample) so I’m not really sure what to make of him.
I’m going with option 2 for my own team, Salah could be out for more than 1 GW and that’s a lot of money to leave on your bench. To bring him back I’m planning on upgrading JRod and downgrading Kane to Bamford/Watkins, you have Vardy too who could be sacrificed in a few weeks to free up some funds
Going to keep vardy the next 3 games for sure, if he keeps form possibly longer.
