New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Juanmi
Well after getting my arm twisted just a bit, I joined in on the new signings fun. I present to you Juanmi. Is he really deserving of an article and with picture included all on his own? Probably not, but this is due more to my laziness than Juanmi’s talent. Besides I have to go colour in some trackers and what not. So here you go fantasy fans, we present the giant Juanmi.

[/three_fourth]Juan Miguel Jiménez López also known as Juanmi is a 22 year old who has just joined Southampton. He said his life long dream was to play for a big club when he signed with the Saints, hmmm, guess that is still a goal not yet accomplished. Juanmi scored 8 goals last season in La Liga with Malaga and got his first senior squad call up in March for Spain. There is a lot of things to like about this young Spanish international. He goes by one name, he is Spanish and he is small. We all know that the only good Spanish players are small, so he can’t be all that bad. It remains to be seen where he will be played by Koeman. Striker seems to be his preferred position, however he can play all along the front line if needed. Also will be interesting if the rigours of playing in the EPL will make it tough on him to adjust quickly and show some of his best qualities. Expect to see a pacy player with good movement off the ball. Surprisingly good in the air, but one could argue that his headed goals are due more to his movement than the ability to outmuscle or out jump any Shawcrosses.
Fantasy outlook: A wait and see option. At some point this season he will be given a chance to prove himself. You know Shane Long will be out with some sort of injury, probably his wrist tape being too tight or something will put him out several weeks. J-Rod is coming back from a devastating injury and Pelle has been mentioned among those who suffered from one of the worst droughts ever recorded in history. At only 6.0 if he is given a chance maybe he can be a J-Rod type from two seasons ago and prove to be good value.

Great stuff Mito, thanks – you’ve almost convinced me. Not to go for him!! Defo one to keep an eye, seriously, especially with the Saints playing Thursday nights, the usual form for these Europa losers is to be nackered and crap come January – and then his time may come!!

No United worries me a bit so its either City’s big two or one of each – City and United. Obviously that would mean Silva to go I think but I don’t like that idea much at all.
Hey GP GK ok both have fairly good fixtures to start I see you have stuck Mathews in , do you rate him as att potential rest look good we need to keep an eye on Cedric some doubt if he will start. Not sure about Muniesa & Surman will they start ? Like your MF , even if Cabaye has a tough start I also have J Rod @ present but will keep an eye preseason Deeney I,m not sure I want to be on his bandwagon a good player with a bit of a temper but there are far more options @ 6.5m if you can get it from somewhere maybe Silva to Sterling players you could get Berahino , Sakho , Ulloa , Agbon , Defoe , Vardy , Naismith , Cisse & Flettcher @ 5m might be worth a punt if fit good team 😉

I know Cedric and Matthews have each assisted one and Cedric has in fact already scored so I think they’ll both play especially as they are both the current managers’ signings.
I don’t fancy the downgrade of Silva to Sterling just to upgrade Deeney. If I’m doing anything it would be to analyse more closely the stats of Deeney and Wilson of Bournemouth or even drop down to Ighalo who already has five goals in pre-season.

I see Mark Hughes has said Jack Butland starts the season as his no.1 keeper and will get a proper run in the side.

He must have heard us talking about this last night – NiN and I – we were discussing who would be No.1 with the new GKs being signed. This may alter current plans as Muniesa in my team was a bit of a risk. I may cover Stoke via Butland now.

Yeah I glanced quickly at the site as I got into bed and say your chat, which probably triggered my brain when I heard it this morning!!
All good mate, thanks – it’s Friday, at last! No real idea on my team, was just talking to one of the boys at work – it’s so hard to know what to do, help, advise with three weeks still to go and plenty of new faces to watch in pre-season.
I am thinking to play my 2-5-3 early doors though as I think that’ll be quite tough to plan for and then readjust from mid season.

The ‘All-Out attack’ is difficult to gauge. So difficult to judge when your front eight will have their best week. Indeed as you go on, your front eight will change as well which makes it harder. I think I’ll be on a 4.5 mid by the time the season starts so it may be ‘his’ easiest game along with favourable fixtures for the rest. I don’t know.
Yeah it’s been nice here since I got back my holidays and wouldn’t you know it, it p!sses down on the day my resurfacing job is finishing. Always happens.

For what its worth, I think Muniesa will partner Shawcross in defence. But, Jack Butland should take the jersey for starters.
