Fantasy football Trends From The Top – GW37 Welcome to this week’s edition of Trends From the Top. What have the leaders been up to and what will our leaders being doing as we edge towards the end of the season and head into Gameweek 37 which is in fact a DGW for 8 teams? Let’s take a look and see what trends if any ensued.
Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36
Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 And so finally back to a ‘normal’ game-week. All teams play, they all play just once and there’s no silliness. Well, that’s the theory anyway. There probably will be some once the team sheets are revealed but let’s see. There will of course be silliness again next week as we have another DGW and there will definitely be silliness the week after as there always is on the final day of the season with some strange results, and there’s always the odd 7-0 thrown into the mix for ...[Read More]
Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 36
Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 It is often said that getting over the line is the hardest part of a race, presumably by cheeky rapscallions who refuse to release the finishing tape properly at marathons. But is it really the case? As soon as the end roars into view the adrenaline bestows upon us a fresh surge of enthusiasm to complete our mission. A mission, which we chose to accept last August; one that became impossible once we realised we were all 300 points behind a bunch of flukey sods who started the season with 3 Leicester players. Nevertheless...[Read More]
Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 36
Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 36 As Dinah Washington would have put it, what a difference a ‘game-week’ makes! From the highs of GW34 when we scored an impressive 173pts, GW35 certainly brought us back down to earth as we scored a paltry 39pts. As a result we picked up a red arrow as we slid back to a rank of 130,431. It is however our 2nd highest rank of the season. Yes we realise we are clutching at straws! With only seven games in GW35 it was never going to be a high scoring game-week but after a steady climb up the rankings we had hoped for more than 39pts. So where did it all go w...[Read More]
Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 36 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 No doubles, no blanks, no fun. We’ve all been planning ahead… but not for this one! The captaincy decision still demands our attention though. Using the Triple Captain chip on Sanchez or Aguero for the recent double game-week went down a treat – they, of course, feature here once again – whilst giving the armband to Martial ended in tears: it’s a fine line that must be tread carefully every single time. This late stage of the season is a strange one; even Leeds have more to play for than half o...[Read More]
Fantasy football Trends From The Top – GW36
Fantasy football Trends From The Top – GW36 Welcome to this week’s edition of Trends From the Top. Gameweeks 34 and 35 were certainly game changers for our leaders and for those who follow this article week after week, you’ll know that many of the leaders (prior to GW 33) held top spots for many, many weeks. For the first time this season, the game has significantly changed. This week the only player to have a spot in the top ten for more than 2 weeks is our current leader Dimitris Gavles who has held a top position for ONLY 3 weeks. ALL of our (ex)leaders…all of the players we have been...[Read More]
MLS GW8 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer
MLS GW8 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer MLS DEADLINE GW8 – THURSDAY 28TH APRIL 00:00AM- UK GMT Time (Ergo, Wednesday at Midnight!!!!) If MLS Fantasy was a dog, I would’ve kicked it this weekend. If it was a sacred ancient text, I would’ve lit a match and set it on fire. And if it was a perfect plate of food from the finest restaurant in the land, I would’ve set it on the floor and crapped on it. You get the idea. I was not a fan of MLS Fantasy this weekend – and I’m sure most of you weren’t either. I think Kaka’s injury report AFTER the round locked was the real kicker for...[Read More]
Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 36
Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 36 So, just three game-weeks to go before our summer holidays, although watching some of the Premier League teams you could be mistaken for thinking they have beaten you to the beach. But for us we need to finish the season well, chase down or see home our mini-leagues and ensure that this season doesn’t go down as our worst ever! There is no early match this week, but we do at least have a full compliment of fixtures, so no excuses for not fielding a full team this week. Five 3pm matches kick us off as Everton host Bournemouth, Newcastle aim for a mu...[Read More]
