Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15 The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while...[Read More]

Finalised Fantasy Football 247 FPL Team – GW3

Finalised Fantasy Football 247 FPL Team – GW3 We pre-released our team on Wednesday evening, suggesting that we were just going to make one change. However, as you know, rumours of a hamstring injury to Chelsea striker Diego Costa were beginning to surface, hence we needed to wait for today’s press conferences to clarify the situation with him and indeed everyone in our squad after a busy week of Champions League, Capital One Cup and Europa League action. Jose Mourinho confirmed that Costa is “a big doubt” for the game vs Everton and hence we have decided to sell him, d...[Read More]

Team Talk Fantasy Football – GW3

Team Talk Fantasy Football – GW3 2014/15 GW3 is upon us and there’s plenty to look forward to. Mad Mario is set to be unleashed on Spurs, Angel Di Maria looks to make his United debut, Samuel Eto’o has turned up at Goodison, while Michael Dawson has left Spurs for Hull. The injury to Diego Costa has rocked 42.2% of FPL teams, while the return of goal machine Sergio Aguero gathers pace. Oh and happy-go-lucky Neil Warnock makes a Premier League reappearance as he’s given another go at Crystal Palace where the fireworks between him and Jason Puncheon will make Mario’...[Read More]

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 3

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 3 Only two game-weeks into the new season and a number of things are becoming apparent. United’s preseason form which led to many managers having two if not three United players in their squad was possibly a false dawn and managers are now rethinking this strategy. Chelsea & City already appear head & shoulders above the rest and it will be a brave manager who does not have ample coverage from both sides. Before the season started many suggested that this could be the season of 3-5-2 and while it’s far too early to confirm if this is the case, a num...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 FPL Team – GW3

Fantasy Football 247 FPL Team – GW3 GW2 Review It’s fair to say that GW2 was certainly a case of leaving it late. Our final score of 62pts was significantly higher than the average of 44pts and helped lift the team to 34,135 in the world. But for most of the weekend it looked like we were going to see a depressing red arrow as our defence disappointed as others around us made ground. Our skipper Diego Costa delivered his goal vs Leicester, though in all fairness we were hoping for at least a brace from him. So, 12pts from him, 6pts from Cesc Fabregas and 5pts from Gylfi Sigurdsson ...[Read More]

Pottys Predictions Gameweek 3

Pottys Predictions Gameweek 3 Hi everyone how we doing? No doubt rocked by the Giroud injury? Well let me take you away from your FPL selection demons and transport you into Pottys World. Last weekend 44 punters walked through the revolving door at Pottys Bookie’s and entered “3-2-1,Select and Win” which was a close affair, as I predicted the competition was decided by one’s Monday night player prediction and with 10 minute’s remaining of the Man City v Liverpool (keep flapping) game, Silverback had claimed the Weekly Medal. But up popped some genius management by...[Read More]

Captain Picks Fantasy Football Gameweek 3

Captain Picks Fantasy Football Gameweek 3 GW2 was a great reminder how important your Captain selection is. Those who went with Costa, Hazard or Ramsey were well rewarded, whilst those who went with Rooney or the returning RvP were let down by a lacklustre performance and their gameweek suffered as a result. This week presents us with some tough decisions – with Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and United all playing away and with Everton and Spurs hosting two of the aforementioned, we are left with Manchester City who appear to have the standout fixture as they host Stoke at The Etihad. The ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek 3

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek 3 “You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step”. A lovely sentiment, but Martin Luther King Jr. clearly hasn’t visited FF247 where we look at the FPL staircase six steps at a time. Welcome to the GW3 Fixtures article, in which we endeavour to segregate the teams that will be relishing a points feast over the next 6 games, from those that will be wanting to avoid their Twitter feed for a while. If GW2 had one motto for FPL managers, it was ‘We told you so’. Delivering for the 2nd consecutive week, Ramsey and Cost...[Read More]
