Am I the only feeling that the wildcard actually destabilised my team? I think my mistake biggest was to bring in RVP instead of Sturridge! I had to sacrifice my defense and that will bite me in the behind! Seen red arrows and now with Aguero probable injury I re-bought Sturidge…insane? Perhaps! Would it be brain dead to want to WC my old team back?? laugh
    Boruc (Davis)
    Bennett, Koscielny, Gabiddon, Bardlsey, Bruce
    Hazard, Mata, Silva, Mirallas, Livermore
    RVP, Aguero, Suarez

      Its a nice team KFK

Dont worry, RVP will probably make up for the lost points in defence in coming weeks. laugh

      • Thanks The B! Well I really hope so! My plans of having two rotating keepers went down the drain! Wanted Ruddy and Boruc as they have in my eyes the best rotation till the end but now I am hoping RVP to finally stay fit for more than 2 games! I see you hit the Mannone jackpot!! 😉 Boruc has to have it in him surely?!

        • The B says:

True! Boruc can bring so many CSs. Thats the reason i had Clyne in my WC team but he has just played one game for me since then (got a CS for that though laugh )

    RMT Please: 0.7m 1FT

    Szczechny-Mannone
    Terry-Mertesacker-Coleman-Ward-Chester
    Mata-Eriksen-Lallana-Hazard-Colback
    Adebayor-Aguero-Suarez

Thinking of holding Coleman & Chester – Bennett

Then wait on the Aguero and take a -4 hit for someone

    Thanks

    The B says:

Should i take a hit? (Took a hit last week too and didnt work out, ended up losing 6 points)

    Team:

    Marshall
Kosc – Clyne – Olsson (Nor)
    Hazard – Silva – Lallana – Eriksen – Noone
    Suarez – Giroud

Bench: Mannone – Aguero – Coleman – Chester

I am one player short of fielding in 11 players because of Clyne. As Coleman is out for 2GWs only, im ready to bench him.

0.4M in bank and FT already used to replace Cabaye and bring in Eriksen.

    What to do?

      Ripcurl82 says:

I would hit to change Aguero if he is out long term

    • 9.2

Toughie! As I wrote in my post I got rid of Aguero, so before his price plummets (if the injury is that bad) you should swap him out for Sturidge? (doubling on pool attack pay off at the moment so why not jump on the occasion) And also you can make a bit of profit on Sturidge since a lot of people are buying him atm!
With Aguero facing injury and possibly 2 blank GWs (28 and 29) it may be good to sub him out. But wait till tonight we may have more news on him.

      • The B says:

        Oh man.
So semis in GW 28 and a possible final in GW29? Is that the reason for blanks?

If thats true than i think i should get Rooney or Sturridge. But the main issue is in defence and i have only 2 playing defenders at the moment. sad

        • GW28 is for the Carling cup final. And GW29 may be where they reschedule the FA cup tie IF City and Chelsea draw. At least its what I read on some post earlier. It’s just good to know that there may be a possible blank in GW29. But I agree…Chester seems to be a bigger worry now, what do you think of a sideways move and put Bruce in for Chester? But for that to work out Bruce will HAVE to keep a CS vs Spurs home. So it’s far from guaranteed! Honestly a 4ph for a cheap defender is not worth it. I am thinking also maybe Chester for Collins? West Ham home may be okay but then they play Swansea who would actually score a couple on a good day.

        • The B says:

Im considering Shaw at the moment. If i take a hit, i want to be sure that i play that defender without any worries for at least 4GWs, and i think provides that.

        • You would have 2 Southampton defenders then? But they do have good fixtures in the next 4! Bad to take a 4PH but, you would eventually have to if Chester and Coleman again don’t play next week and you have to get rid of Aguero.

        • The B says:

Im probably thinking Clyne>Shaw as a sideways move, and will keep Chester on the bench to sort it out later.

But then there is a fear of Clyne starting which will piss me off. laugh

        • TheDreamers says:

The B – have you confidence of McNaughton holding his place? At home to Norwich, then away to Swansea and home to Villa.

if you have some money, still reckon Evans is the way to go

        • TheDreamers says:

that allows you go Chester to McNaughton.

        • The B says:

Wont get McNaughton. He should lose place to Fabio sooner or later, and getting him will only double up my Cardiff defence (already have Marshall).

      The B

I took -8 this past week in order to put out an XI and I only scored 2 above average I think. Rarely worth it but in your case if you are thinking about it then I would deal with Chester first and then see if Clyne again fails to play and if so, bring in Shaw the following week.

Eriksen is a good buy. Well done.

      • The B says:

Wanted Eriksen for so long! I got him as soon as the GW started to avoid price falls on Cabaye and price rises on Eriksen.

Yeah well, i think replacing injured players should be a priority rather than those out of favor.

      TheDreamers says:

I think it comes down to Ageuro and we should know more today on that. Cant have that much sitting on the bench for a number of weeks. Hamstrings are funny. One week can be two. Four can be six etc.

I took a -8 last week and I hate hits. Cabaye in was my freebie. So moved him out for Mata (got 6) and moved Clyne out for Evans (got 8) so overall it worked and strengthened my team for this week.

I have Lukaku and potentially Aguero to deal with this week (likely tonight)

      photek says:

B, not sure its worth taking a hit for a def in this case.
you can take out Chester for Bennett / Turner (car) at least that way you get to pick 2 def but you need a clean sheet to gain 2 pts. Eventually, Chester will have to go. Clyne might still start but who knows whos the pick out of him and Chambers.

I’m playing Ward Bennett and Williamson so i’m not expecting big things, way it goes some weeks mate, last gw i had 10 to start.

      Thinking Sturridge myself…

      The B says:

Currently have the arm band on Suarez, but leaning more towards Giroud as WB is recently performing well.

Palace has been pathetic in away games, and has lost 9 out of 11 away games. So it makes a good case for Giroud.

Guys RMT pleaseee. I think my team is perfect but any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!!

    Boruc (Lewis)
    Sagna Kolarov Rafael Terry (Ward)
    Hazard Mata Lallana (Jedinak Oviedo)
    RvP Suarez Sturridge.

    Have taken a 4 point hit to do Howard>Boruc, Cabaye>Mata and Giroud>RvP

    Any captain choices? Thankss. :’D

Nice team! I prefer a 3-4-3 formation tho.

      The B says:

Nice. So around 70% of your attack potential is dependent upon 2 teams.

    • 12.3

      Tanmayrs

Can’t be perfect as it has Oviedo in it! You need a replacement for him.

I’d captain Suarez out of that lot.

    • 12.4
      TheDreamers says:

      Tan – nice team

I would think if having only one playing keeper, you might need to go a bit more heavy hitter such as Cech.
Rafael hasn’t been scoring well (assists or bonuses). Could go cheaper there and replace Oviedo who is out for the season.

also – you have the transfers done already so our opinion is somewhat pointless smile

      Tekno-kun says:

Look at City’s fixture list after Chelsea, you need some attacking coevrage from them. I don’t think you need two Man U players either so I’d do Silva/Yaya/Navas for Mata or Dzeko/Negredo/Jovetic for RvP. Considering that you just bought both of them though I guess you won’t be too happy with those transfers, but I still think you should look for a way to get more City players.
