Whether it’s games under the lights or just that it breaks up the mundane working week we don’t know but either way they always feel special. We begin with 3 games on Tuesday with Swansea unashamedly prepping London busses for Arsenal, Moyes spitting feathers in an attempt to find 11 available players to face Palace and Huddersfield fearing the worst against Klopp’s juggernaut. FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 25 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 25. A green arrow! Albeit a very small one. But after 4 straight red ones we shall take it. We rose a measly 4k in the rankings and now sit in 252,220th place. Hardly ideal but we will keep plugging away. We scored 55 last time out, 5 above the average. We were hoping for more of a rise given that we profited from that Kun hat-trick, if only we had captained him… and so said many. We instead captained Kane and rued his last minute sitter… and so said many. Our defence were the main culprits in us not hitting any real heights as they brought home just 7 points between the 4 of them. Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 25 2017/18 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 25. GW24 was definitely a mixed bag for most people. I was very happy with how my team was going straight after the Christmas period getting green arrows and going into the top 60k but GW24 was like that feeling you get having to go back to work on a Monday or when you come home from the pub steaming only to be interrogated by the prison warden. Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW25 Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW25. GW24 started as many of you had predicted; a comfortable Chelsea win and a goal by Eden Hazard after just 3 minutes. It ended less predictably; a Liverpool defeat at the Liberty Stadium. Hats off to our very own Nostradamus Cookie for getting that one right! Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 25 Welcome to Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 25. Gameweek 24 divided friendship groups (or mine at least!) and the 247 community alike. For those who captained Aguero, Aguero scored a hat-trick. For those who did not, Aguero scored the worst hat-trick ever televised. It was worse than the goal the rubbish kid on your junior football team scores when you are 10-0 up and everyone’s task shifts to getting him to score. His first never touched him, his second was a penalty and almost saved, and his third was literally like the rubbish kid scoring his goal having stood on the penalty spot for the whole half after your best player who had trials for Chesterfield goes around their whole team to set him up. Time to get the show on the road once again and we start down at the south coast for the lunchtime fare as Chelsea visit Brighton. FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 24 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 24. Hmmm… A 4th consecutive red arrow. Our worst run of the season. Crap. This is all despite picking up 66pts which was actually 8pts better than the average. It’s tough at the top. Although we’re not anywhere near the top! We’ve dropped outside the top 250k. Last week’s transfers didn’t quite go to plan. Jesse picked up a rather pathetic 2pts while despite the Liverpool v City game being a 7 goal thriller, Aguero registered just 5pts. However, Kun does face Newcastle this week so he will have the opportunity to make up for it. Elsewhere, our defence racked up a pitiful 5pts. Our star performer was Arnautovic with 16pts. Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 24 There are so many mottos you can say in football: “It’s a marathon, not a sprint” can be applied all season-long, “All good things have to come to an end” would be how Man City must be feeling as their unbeaten run did just that and then there’s “All good things come to those who wait”. Well, the last gameweek particularly showed how true the latter phrase was as a number of the players we had brought in for the double gameweek suddenly sprung to life. Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 24 2017/18 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 24. To be honest; I couldn’t wait for GW22 to end. The Christmas fixtures started so well, green arrows in GW19 and 20, but quickly followed by two reds in 21 and 22 resulting in ending up pretty much back where I started. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it (honest) but usually the pain of a bad game-week is over in a matter of days. GW22 was like an episode of Downton Abbey, tedious, something I don’t want to watch and overly drawn-out.
