Live Match Chat Gameweek 15 FPL News

Live Match Chat Gameweek 15 FPL News Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 15 FPL News: GW15 begins with Watford hosting Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. What are you having for lunch? Whatever it is, it’ll probably be more exciting than this will be. Sorry to start you off on a downer but we didn’t pick the televised fixtures. After that we have four 3pm games, the most notable of which, in terms of FPL, is probably Sanchez hosting Stoke. Saturday closes out with a Kun-less Man City visiting a clueless Leicester. Sunday begins with either Chelsea hammering West Brom or West Brom making our Sunday boring with a shutout. United and Spurs do battle after that, as do the Saints and ‘Boro. Klopp sees the week out when his lot look to hammer the Hammers Saturday 10th December 1...[Read More]

Fantasy Premier League Captain Picks Gameweek 15

Fantasy Premier League Captain Picks Gameweek 15 Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Captain Picks Gameweek 15. You can’t always play it safe. Sometimes those things with really long odds actually happen. I was just standing there, on a hot and muggy summer’s night, minding my own business. Wet and naked. Just me and one other guy. I never did catch his name. Which seems strange to me now I think about it. Especially given that he was wet and naked too. Anyway, there we were, the sole occupants of a large outdoors communal shower block in a summer camp in Massachusetts. The young campers were tucked up in bed and another counselor and I were showering after using the gym. It was about 9pm at night and it was raining like I had never seen before. Think UK storms, multiplied by 100. Crazy rain...[Read More]

Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News

Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News: Oh dearie me, look what we start the game-week with? ‘A Clash of the Cash’ no less. Two continental firebrand managers at the top of their game and two title contenders going head-to-head. Doesn’t get much juicier than this really. Cue the boring 0-0. Unless Stones plays… in which case captain Costa. 3pm then brings us five games, most notably Pardew’s last, if he makes it there at all, and Spurs entertaining Swansea in a much anticipated goal fest. Cue the 0-0. Yet another London derby sees Saturday out as Arsenal visit West Ham in what should be an entertaining encounter. Sunday sees a Coutinho-less Liverpool try to adjust to life without him as they visit a Bournemouth sid...[Read More]

Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 14

Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 14 Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 14. Whether you’re superstitious or not, the number 13 when it came to fantasy football was unlucky for a good number of people. Being Gameweek 13, those who captained Coutinho, for example, thinking he was going to blow Sunderland out of the park, are no doubt licking their wounds. There also seems to be an influx of injuries at the moment, too, with the likes of Holebas, Giroud, Heaton, Shawcross, Firmino and Sterling joining a growing list that also features Lallana, Bellerin and Friend. You could say the past few weeks have been a bit reminiscent of last season. Players that barely feature in many teams have suddenly exploded into life, leaving a lot of players scratching their head and wondering ho...[Read More]

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 14 2016-17

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 14 2016-17 Welcome to FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 14 2016-17. It’s important to remember that there are 38 gameweeks in the FPL season. This is something I had to remind myself of constantly this weekend. No matter how badly your season is going (and there are a few stinkers out there), you still have 65% of the season remaining to get right again. Have there been some anomalous results? For sure. Have I failed to accurately predict a sufficient amount of those strange scorelines? You’re damn right – but I’m still staying positive. Because here’s the thing: for the most part, things are actually going to script. Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all won this past weekend. Were they wins in the fashion that you’d hoped they’d be? Probabl...[Read More]

Live Match Chat Gameweek 13 FPL News Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 13 FPL News: If you scored big in GW12 or for that matter simply respectable, you are either a psychic or somehow life led you down a path where you turned to into a Victor Anichebe owner. Think we will take the low score and a clean conscience, but that’s just us and no one said we were not spiteful. Anyway, Burnley gets their tokus handed to them by City to start the game-week. That is followed by four 3pm games. Hull take on the aliens who stole Liverpool’s attacking talents in West Brom. We also see the champs host Boro, the Swans tangle with Palace in the EPL’s version of Sunday league football and poor man’s West Brom, Liverpool host the suddenly alive Black Cats who by the way have used ...[Read More]

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 13

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 13 2016-17 Welcome to FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 13 2016-17. I think it’s best if we can all just agree that last round should just be written off in its entirety. It was evident that there were some tired legs out there from most of our key players. And there were also a few teams that really looked like they hadn’t played together for a while. Results didn’t go as planned, and many fantasy teams suffered as a result. On a normal week, Liverpool would’ve probably put at least 2 goals on Southampton given the form they’re in. And Chelsea probably would’ve scored more than a single goal on Middlesbrough. And nobody is quite sure how they feel about Yaya scoring two goals for City, but that stat alone should tell you how abnormal this last round really was....[Read More]

Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News

Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News: A two week gap in FPL can seem like an eternity, especially when you have to watch the international games knowing that you’re precious assets are literally risking injury at every turn. Thankfully it’s now over and we can return to normality this weekend. All the worry over whether Sanchez / Hazard / Costa / ‘insert your player name here’ is either fit / injured / on a plane / missed a plane / drunk / ‘insert daft rich player behaviour here’, is almost over. This is a rare PL weekend as we have a grand total of 8 games on Saturday. GW12 itself begins on Saturday lunchtime as Manchester United host Arsenal and runs all the way through to Monday evening when the excitement will sure...[Read More]

Around the Grounds FPL Team News Gameweek 17

Around the Grounds FPL Team News Gameweek 17 Welcome to Around the Grounds FPL Team News Gameweek 17. This is brilliant, three game-weeks in a row mean that if you are a hit-merchant then your squad will likely look markedly different to what it did this time last week! Beautiful stuff. Well we go again this weekend and it’s pretty much back to reality – no quick turnaround to a midweek game-week (booooooo), but rather some 3-day action that should keep us fully satisfied. We have some corker games (see Man City vs Arsenal and Monday night’s Merseyside derby), we have some matches that should accrue us some well deserved fantasy points (see Chelsea at Palace and Spurs home to Burnley) and we have some matches that scream ‘sleeeeeeeep’ (see Bournemouth vs South...[Read More]

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 16

Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 16 Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 16 article. Well, that didn’t go as planned. We had 8 guys earn 5 points or less this gameweek, that is usually not a recipe for success. However not everything was gloom and despair as among all the crappiness there was some FPL heroes that came to at least save us from total disaster. With the likes of Alexis, Kane, Firmino, Pedro, Walker and Cech one would not expect to be turning to a Swan and Hornet defender for the points. Amat and Holebas did what they could for us and rescued our dignity. Well them and The Prince of Darkness Diego Costa. Because with a bunch of misses everywhere on the team we did manage to captain our highest scorer. So thank you Prince Diego and our two defen...[Read More]

Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 15

Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 15 Welcome to Fantasy Premier League Tips Gameweek 15. It was Christmas Eve babe, In the drunk tank, An old man said to me, won’t see another one… So it’s not quite Christmas yet but it’s time to start getting into the festive spirit. For some Christmas is about making a fool of themselves at the office Christmas party, for others it’s about spending time with family, for others it’s about presents, while for some it’s a religious time of the year. For some of us it’s about squeezing five game-weeks into three weeks, yes indeed we’ve got our priorities straight. As we’ve seen over the course of the season rotation is becoming an even bigger issue than it has been in the past and it’s only going to get worse over the weeks ahead. So start your plan...[Read More]

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 15

FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 15 Welcome to FPL Fixtures Analysis Gameweek 15. We’re coming into a bit of a log jam for fixtures here in the next three rounds. GW15 will start this coming weekend, but GW16 will then take place midweek with GW17 starting the weekend after. For active players, this is always a good time to shoot above some of those managers who only check in on their teams on Fridays. Without a doubt, there will be managers who completely forget to check their teams for midweek adjustments. So when you see the three matchups listed for each of my selections this round, know that you’re really looking at one full weeks worth of fixtures. Because of this, there won’t be a typical fixtures article going into GW16, but I’ll still have some tips for you for GW16 in lieu of fixtu...[Read More]
