Premier League Relegation Odds: Which Teams Face the Dreaded Drop this Season? Although the attention is primarily focused on the upper echelons of the table, the clubs battling to retain their Premier League status often makes for far more drama, with the financial implications of dropping into the Championship sometimes proving devastating for years to come. This season sees Norwich City and Watford, two newly promoted teams with a reputation for yo-yoing between the top two tiers, being backed as favourites for the drop. Betting on Premier League relegation is a popular betting market, even well beyond the UK borders with international and Vegas betting websites currently offering a wide range of European soccer-betting markets and odds since sportsbetting is legal in 20+ U.S states. Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 12

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News Gameweek 12 We’ll do away with the wordy intro as you should all be au fait with the new layout of this by now. As a quick reminder – There are two versions of this article. The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with. The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 12

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 12 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 12 Back to FPL business we go, then, after another international break rudely interrupts the Premier League action. Or it’s a welcome break if you’re Swirly. Whatever. Looking all the way back to Gameweek 11 and it was Man City’s Cancelo who should have been the man to captain in the end, as he picked up 14 points in the comfortable 2-0 win over the local rivals. The perma-captain choice – at least until he heads off for international duty in about eight gameweeks’ time – registered an assist as his side were defeated 3-2 by West Ham and, other than TAA, you were lucky if you had any of the other big points scorers that time. It’s been a long time since ma...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek GW12

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek GW12 As we alluded to recently, we have scaled this particular article back a bit in recent times and, rather than waffle on about the same teams each week for a month, we are doing it more periodically and oft when it is more pertinent. An International Break is usually a good opportunity to re-boot and this one provides the perfect timing as we can now look ahead to a good chunk of five gameweeks from 12-16 and this then takes us nicely into the busy Christmas period which sees another five gameweeks, albeit those ones are squashed into 21 days. Consider this part one of two then and we shall have the Christmas sequel the week prior to Gameweek 17 to deal with the said mess above. Rather than just give you a vague idea of three teams with decent fixture...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. Welcome back, I hope you’ve all enjoyed the short break! Back in GW11 results largely went as expected, West Ham’s win over Liverpool was the only standout result, elsewhere no other team scored more than twice, which in theory should have made for a high scoring week, but with the likes of Norwich grabbing an unexpected 2-1 away win and the goalless draw at Goodison, the scores were relatively low. This weeks winner was Agcastello, 14pts was enough to push out Pjlill who came a close second with 13pts. Agcastello correctly guessed the FGS (Armstrong), Pjlill did not. In 3rd place is yours truly (Rosco) with 12pts, again, thanks to correctly guessing the FGS. And so; Ma...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Inside The Mind Of An FPL Player Gameweek 12 Part 1 Having launched this new feature last week it seemed to go down very well with our community. And also with the writing team – so much so that when we asked who was up for it again this week we got so many responses we have had to split it down into two smaller chunks. Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 12

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 12 Welcome to Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 12 We all know who our most prolific poster is on here. Barely a comment goes by without Smash responding to it. And we all love him for it. He does however go away on a much deserved holiday on Wednesday and so in anticipation of this, and potentially not being able to respond for a while, he has left us with more words than most of us will be able to muster between us in the IB. Jamaica? Nah, she wanted to, honest guv… Goalkeepers Aaron Ramsdale (4.7) Since coming into the Arsenal team in GW4 Aaron Ramsdale has only conceded four goals, picking up an impressive four clean sheets. During this time only Manchester City have a better xGC rate than Arsenal. He missed the first three game weeks and is now the th...[Read More]

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 11 Sky are having a ‘mare… We begin with an early deadline this week as Villa go to Saints in what can only be described as an odd choice by Sky to bother pulling it forward to Friday night and then actually screening it. Saturday kicks off with the game that should be on at 4.30pm on Sunday (the Manchester v Salford derby). We often mention Jeff Stelling on here when it comes to the Saturday 3pm games and with good reason because he is a legendary presenter and his show has been one of the best inventions since the PL (football) began. He has also been poorly treated by Sky since this whole pandemic thing began. Initially shorn of any games to actually present they then decided to strip him of all his ‘mates’. The very people who made t...[Read More]

FF247 FPL Team GW11

FF247 FPL Team Gameweek 11 Welcome to the FF247 FPL Team for Gameweek 11 So Gameweek 10 is in the books and the lads here at FF247 Towers didn’t clear the avergae bar by much – but we did – and the 49 points versus the 42 average secured a green arrow and a rise to just outside the top quarter million – 251,543 for the pedantic amongst you. We had the midfield to thank in all honesty with you. We mined 33 of our overall total in there thanks to the performances of (captain) Mohamed Salah 10, Raphinha 9, Emile Smith-Rowe 9 and Said Benrahma 5. In fact only Antonio Rudiger with 6, outside of these did anything of note with his clean sheet at Newcastle. The rest are 2s and 1s and have been sent to the naughty step. Our Gameweek 10 Result… Let’s go see what ...[Read More]
