Fantasy Football 247 League Updates September

Fantasy Football 247 leaguesHello everyone and welcome to the September round up of the FF247 leagues. So how did everyone do this month? Injuries were more common than a scouser in a car park and managers were dreading to be the first one to get the bullet, so lets see who managed to steer their teams through the mine field that is fantasy football and top our compliment of leagues. Any successful managers will be added to our Hall of Fame which is coming soon.

FF247 League
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesTop spot in this league has stayed with Tom Farmer, who was also top in August with his team ‘Blame It On Debuchy’. Tom had amassed 394 points up to the end of September and was sitting pretty in 6th overall in the world, keep up the good work Tom. (The pic above includes this weeks scores that include week 1 from October). 2nd spot goes to Gerrie Pistorius, with his team ‘Pick_And_Hope’ on 387pts, and that points haul took him to 27th in the world. A further 6pts back in 3rd with 381 is team ‘Societa Esportive77’ and owner Boblewo-Garutti Brasil, who has also stuck around in the top 5 for 2 months. 4th place goes to Jaye Williams with his team ‘FC Yayunomi’ on 379 pts. In 5th, a further 5pts back with 374,was Hammad Mudassar and his team ‘Fantastic 11’.

FF247 Manager Of The Month
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesTop spot for September goes to A Khan with his team ‘Disneyland’, he managed to achieve 190pts from only 3 gameweeks, this score had also propelled him to 44th in the FF247 league. Ivan Bosnjak with his team ‘Leafs FC’ pushed for top spot all the way but finished just 1pt behind to take 2nd place with 189pts. Konrad Wojtowicz and Richard Prowse came in with 187pts to tie for 3rd spec with their respective teams ‘Gooners FC’ and ‘Tinkerman United’. 5th place went to Richard Jagers team ‘Wolf Pack’ with 185pts.

FF247 Doubles League
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesThe overall positions in this league are changing every gameweek and top spot at the end of September goes to Timmy + Cartman, alias our Colombian friend Mito + his sidekick Suarez, with their team ‘We Will Bite You’ and a respectable haul of 339pts, NZ Alex + Peaky Dave fought tooth and nail to reach 1st place but just failed finishing 2nd by 1pt on a total of 338. 3rd spot went to an unknown entity, Mr + Mrs Facepalm, with their team ‘No Hope Bob Hope’ who since the start of the season have been slowly picking up momentum to achieve 335pts. Last seasons champions Aditupem have dropped from 1st to 4th place with 330pts. In 5th spec are the up + coming FF247 article writers Calvin + Chins, they appear to have dropped off the pace a bit on 319pts with their team ‘Belly + Clyne’ but will probably blame it on their time writing superb articles rather than amassing points.

Well folks that’s it for September, so congratulations to everyone mentioned. Don’t forget there are only 3 gameweeks in October as we have another international break. Good luck to all for the next month, especially young Tom Farmer, keep the flag flying for FF247 with that high overall ranking.

Hi all, please can someone give an opinion on this, I have the template team and thinking:
Moreno & Clyne to Baines & Moore or Dummett (other defenders are Naylor, Chambers, Hutton……any views?

I’m glad i got it right this GW7. Did Ramsey and Rooney for Aguero(c) and Downing for a 4pt hit. Aguero (7×2=14pts) Downing (8pts) total of 22 between both. Overall 73 points not bad. I was also contemplating Silva and Pelle which would have gotten me 3+2 = 5pts between them. I guess luck was in my favor.

Finally done, this is what I’l be aiming for in the next 3 weeks, hopefully the price rises of my players will counter act the rises of my targets.

Hazard – Have u decided what is your preferred formation? If you prefer a 3-5-2 then you can take out Naismith to a 4.5 forward and used the extra funds of 0.7 upgrade either of your “cheap” defenders. If you prefer a 3-4-3 then you would have a headache benching your 5th midfielder and chances are you might get it wrong week in week out. Just saying. My best advice, get your formation straightened out first

      • hazardeden10 says:

        will probably be a siggy/welbeck/naismith rotation…
good advice though, think naismith for 5.2 is fairly cheap. once barkley returns ill have some thinking to do thats for sure!!
without aguero id have to say I’m going with a 352.. but who’s cheaper than naismith and has regular game time?

        • hazardeden10 says:

haha eagle your problem is hitting me now….might have to bench siggy against stoke!! :cuckoo:

        • Eagle says:

yep, that’s the benching headache i told u about.

        • Eagle says:

In reality that cheap forward would only rot in the bench and allow u to maximize funds. Barnes (4.4) Vaz Te (4.4) Zamora (4.3). But if you are concerned with game time then Naismith is the best choice.

      B-Bash says:

Hazard, you know you are likely to be stuck with 352 now, like Eagle said below mate. Only players you could consider benching would be either Siggy Welbeck or Naismith. With Evertons favourable fixtures on us, I dont envy you on that one! smile
      Good luck though fella!

that looks a good team. Agree w/ Eagle re: going with cheaper striker & playing a 3-5-2. I couldn’t sleep well trying to figure out which mid to sit.
Having a 4.5-ish striker + doing Mannone -> 4.0 keeper would give you as much as 0.7 extra to spend on upgrading Moore. I know you like Mannone but I’m just sayin’…

      • hazardeden10 says:

yeah thanks law, krul would be the one going out!!! could even get courtois in and have a 4.5 def instead of azpi.. i dunno, just ideas. will see how the gw plans out.
will be interesting how matinee plays it-naismith/lukaku/mirallas and the introduction of barkley.

Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a good night! Any suggestions on my team would be welcome for the upcoming gw! I am toying whether to switch Chester to Azpilicueta with my FT this week, what do you think or is there any other matter that needs attending to? Many Thanks!

      hazardeden10 says:

could be a good move, but I would probably be more concerned that you have no city coverage- i think its necessary to have silva if you can’t afford aguero!!
to be honest, i think you should choose between azpi and moreno, use the cash on elmohamady probably.
krul isn’t doing great, maybe sub him in for mannone after this week?

      • igy4 says:

I would like City coverage, but literally can’t afford Aguero unless I strip my team elsewhere so that would mean getting Dzeko/Jovetic up front or Silva in midfield. Thinking on giving Welbeck one last game before I maybe move him on!

      Ruben says:

I see that you have 1.2 extra, why not get Baines instead of Az?

    • 41.3
      Silverback says:

Hey Igy4 this is a strong team & 1.2m in bank good move as well

      • igy4 says:

Thanks Silverback, would like to get some City coverage in there, just not sure how at the moment!

        • Titleastic says:

I really like your balance and strength across all lines. I just shows what can be achieved if you’ve got the guts not have Aguero! If you’re happy to continue without Kun then to me Baines is a no brainer for fixtures and attacking points potential.

        • igy4 says:

Thanks Titleastic! There is potential that if I go Azpil then I could look to switch Welbeck to Jovetic should the former still not perform and the latter gets more time after injury, that way I get the city coverage. Obviously if I go Baines, it only leaves me 0.2 in the bank to play with. Tough decision!
