Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24
Let the fun begin! We could be about to encounter a number of DGW’s on the bounce and DGW24 is the first of those, albeit with just the 4 teams playing twice.
We begin on Saturday and end on Wednesday but it is also worth bearing in mind that DGW25 then starts less than 48hrs later, on Friday evening.
Leicester and Liverpool get us under way @12.30pm on Saturday and this is followed by Palace & Burnley @3pm, Man City get their double under way @5.30pm vs Spurs before Brighton & Villa see Saturday out @8pm.
Sunday is a similar marathon with Saints vs Wolves @12pm, Man Utd going to West Brom @2pm, Arsenal welcoming Leeds @4.30pm with Everton & Fulham getting their respective doubles under way @7pm.
Just the two on Monday as West Ham welcome Sheffield Utd @6pm and Newcastle go to Chelsea @8pm.
The ‘bonus’ games occur on Wednesday with Burnley & Fulham boring everybody @6pm before Everton & Man City should hopefully wake us all up again @8.15pm.

Are you keeping Leeds players for their single game week 26?
Was thinking doing the same but wouldn’t want to BB with single game week players on bench?
Ideally I want 15 DGW players included with my BB.
You won’t get a complete set of doubles for a bench boost without a free hit. Unless you take multiple hits or go without Leeds this week. It’s very difficult anyway let alone no free hit
Hi guys, so I have all my chips. WC activated. The below is my GW 25 team. Would appreciate any critiques or suggestions for improvements.
Will be KDB instead of Sterling if it gets announced he’s fit.
BB GW 26 team below. Bit stuck, need to fill the fwd. Not sure where I should downgrade to afford a decent forward.
Tempted to put in a non playing forward rather than downgrade someone else and still play BB – am I being stupid?
If you keep Sterling, as Pep might be cautious with KDB minutes at first.
Then perhaps McCarthy instead of Pickford. 3 x DGW (possibly). Not the best doubles and not in great form but points are there for saves. That should free enough money for e.g. Billy Sharp. Looks pretty nailed for 4 pts and you might hit lucky.

Will almost certainly be doubles in 26 we just don’t know how many but I haven’t pressed the button. They can’t really go further down the line because they have to finish season on time for Euros

Take the hits folks. If you don’t have FH left for 29 then your season will be ruined in the last 9 weeks if you can’t WC in 30.
Smash, you are using the BB this week. There is no point rushing for the WC before we know what exactly the DGW will look like.
Just get Dallas or Raphinha for 25 and chill.
Don’t think I will be involving any Soton players for 26.
Yeah bb is done for me now. I hate that chip anyway. I’ve got Raphinia in but that’s all I’ve done: prob should not have done it early but want the cushion on funds for Kane next week. Dallas will prob also come in. I’m tempted to wildcard still but will wait on concrete news I think now I was so close to hitting button last night and lost 0.2.
I only need Raphinha to make 3 Leeds players but also have an eye on Kane. With 1 FT and 3.2 ITB might end up with a hit. To do Antonio↔Kane must find the missing 1.4 and have no idea where from.
Yeah which is part of the reason why I might bring in Dallas for Digne as that’s where my Kane money comes from for Cavani. I like Raphinia for this double think he’s been out scoring every Leeds player recently.
I was thinking to do something with Antonio but maybe Cavani will be the easier path to get Kane. Initially had the idea to get rid of Salah but he is picking up again and it would be a dangerous move.

Prob Watkins for Antonio for doubles. My problem is that’s two hits in two weeks already potentially earmarked hence why I might wildcard,
I am in the same boat, overdosed on hits. It’s fine when you get it right and recover the lost points but that doesn’t happen very often unfortunately.
