Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 5

Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 This break needs to end! It’s hard to imagine life without our beloved FPL. Four gameweeks. Four 2-point captains. Four fails. Unless you captained Coutinho last gameweek – or triple captained him for that matter – you can’t be faring much worse than I am when it comes to choosing an FPL captain. So here’s a great idea! Take a glance at 5 of my recommendations. Try not to become too absorbed in it all though: reading my captaincy advice is arguably similar to sitting around in second-hand smoke ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixtures Game-week 5

Fantasy Football Fixtures Game-week 5 We usually huff and curse at the first sight of an International break rudely interrupting our FPL flow just as it gathers steam and we all start stretching our legs and getting into the flow of things… Not this season! It’s actually felt more like a chance to go take a good long hard look in the FPL mirror, Cinderella style, and just hope it doesn’t crack at the sight of those first four game-weeks. The break has for once been timely and afforded every fantasy manager a chance to quietly reflect on the train wreck that preceded it. Now w...[Read More]

Transfer Deadline Signings – Anthony Martial and Nikica Jelavic

Transfer Deadline Signings – Anthony Martial and Nikica Jelavic Late on in the transfer window saw the arrival of two strikers into the Premier League. One is a young, largely unknown French striker, while the other is a seasoned Premier League forward who has just joined his third top flight club. We are of course, talking about Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and West Ham’s Nikica Jelavic. Martial joins the Reds from the sunny climes of Monaco for a decent fee with almost as much as add-ons also – the 19 year old has just been called up to the French squad and des...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 4 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 GW4 is live! We kick it off with a lunch time fixture between future champion (in a parallel universe) Arsenal facing off with Newcastle. If both of their first three games this season are anything to go by, expect a lot of action but no goals. At 3pm we see six games commence. Sherwood looks down on Sunderland, hat-trick Wilson faces off versus Mahrez in a match-up of the EPL’s leading scorers, in other action Jose sees the “The Special One” Pardew pay a visit to Stamford Bridge. Continuing t...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Pottys International Interventions

Fantasy Football Pottys International Interventions Ok my Potty Punter’s this is a brief flash article as the aim is to fill the void in your lives caused by this 12 day FPL break. In my Gwk 5 article next week I will include more news on my own Power Of Potty team and how it fared in Gwk 4, but I did nail my Captain pick with Pedro. Thankyou for the 47 of you loons that entered the Sunday Goals Competition and as many of you armbanded Rooney you probably know this cost you a place on the PP League Table, and amazingly the in-form punter’s never registered a League point this week ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 4

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 4 Another week and another meh performance. While we did get that coveted green arrow, it wasn’t anything to write home about. We jumped a bit over 230k spots and ended up in a very unrespectable 2,723,655 in the overall. Oh well, could have been worse I guess, yeah it really could have. In the end our four point hit gave us a net positive of 1 point, after we total the points of the players sold as well as the players brought in and we deduct the hit. In the end the moves were not just about one week as the buying of Alexis and in particular Aguero ...[Read More]

Transfer Deadline Signings – Glenn Murray and Virgil van Dijk

Transfer Deadline Signings – Glenn Murray and Virgil van Dijk Well then, we were waiting on a bonanza of big name signings so that we could pepper this quiet FPL week with a flurry of articles about world class stars turning up on our FPL doorstep with millions in their pockets and fantasy point potential oozing from their gold encrusted boots… And so we begin with Glenn Murray and Virgil van Dijk. Which just about sums up deadline day in all honesty. Hey ho, that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes but either way your beloved Potty was the first to put his hand up and we...[Read More]

Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 4

Team Talk Fantasy Football GW4 Three weeks in and we can start to see how some teams will shake out this season. Some teams have started hot while the performances of some suggest they might not know the season has actually begun. Reinforcements have started to gel (or not) with their new teammates. Some managers have shown us their preferred starting XI. We’ve seen a number of GW1 big hitter differentials flame out and a few who have suggested they can contribute on a weekly basis. Rosters will be finalized in a matter of days. Take in as much football as you can this weekend, lads – a ...[Read More]
