New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Cabaye, Alderweireld, Behrami, Ogbonna
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Cabaye, Alderweireld, Behrami, Ogbonna No time for waffling intro’s this week chaps and chapesses. My pleading at the management’s door has finally paid off and I’ve actually got some decent / interesting players to review! So, I’ve focused all of my efforts on bringing you some high quality (moderately decent, sort of League One standard) info, and I’ve actually left my intro writing until last. Which is weird for you reading this, as clearly this is the first bit you’re reading. But trust me, as I’m typing this, I can glance down the...[Read More]
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Sterling
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Sterling Manchester City have been relatively busy over the last couple of weeks bringing in Fabian Delph & Patrick Roberts, although it remains to be seen if they join the likes of Scott Sinclair and Jack Rodwell on the list of players who have ruined their careers by moving to the Etihad. One player who is highly unlikely to join that list is Raheem Sterling. Having had their first two bids rebuffed by Liverpool they finally got their man, breaking the transfer record for an English player in the process. In all likelihood there will b...[Read More]
Grab, Avoid or Bore Off!
Grab, Avoid or Bore off! Our first installment of Grab, Avoid or Bore off for the 2015-16 season is ready. For those new to the site, it is a simple question and answer segment that covers everything from the serious to the absurd. So why do we call it that? Tradition, is the easy answer as we basically have veered so far off course that we look like a Tiger Woods tee shot. So glad to get the fellas back together as they offer their opinions on everything from going without Haz & Kun to Giroud’s choice of underwear. So without further ado, let’s ask our “experts” so...[Read More]
MLS GW20 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer
MLS GW20 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer Since we’re (again) in the midst of a DGW to plan for, we needed to accelerate this article. This week we get Chicago (bleh) and Columbus (unreliable) in the Wednesday game followed by a more normal slate of games going into the weekend. And Chicago will actually play Columbus for a second time on Sunday to wrap up their DGW. The good news is that we don’t have any bye weeks this round to have to plan around. Interesting stat: only 16 of the 34 weeks in MLS fantasy don’t have a team on a bye week. This game is exhausting to pl...[Read More]
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Cedric, Stekelenberg, Fuchs
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Cedric, Stekelenberg, Fuchs Before we get into previewing the latest batch of international superstars joining our beloved Premiership, I want to say first how great it is that the new fantasy season is nearly upon us. The excitement is really building. It’s been brilliant reading the boards over the last couple of weeks as the regular names/faces return to the site after their long break. And some new faces too! It’s like spring time. The snow has gone and the little green shoots are starting to appear. The little baby rabbits are emerging ...[Read More]
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Mings, Distin, Atsu
New Signings – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16. Mings, Distin, Atsu ***FREE BOOZE**** ***SEX THINGS*** ***CASH GIVEAWAY*** Right, quick, lock the doors Mito! Ok, now that I have your attention and the Colombian Mafia have the exits covered, I can tell you that this isn’t going to be the most exciting list of new arrivals you’re ever going to read. Sometimes life just deals you a rubbish hand. Sometimes you get the shitty end of the stick. And sometimes, you accidently park your car in Cookie’s space on the same day as he’s deciding who gets to write up which new players. So then, le...[Read More]
MLS GW18 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer
MLS GW18 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer This week’s article is going to be a bit different. Due to the severity of the change in playing style we’re going to see in the fantasy game, I focused a bit more on how to deal with those changes than I normally would. The fact of the matter is, we’re moving into a phase of the game that isn’t going to give us a slew of DGW’s to anchor our teams. In fact, in the next five rounds, only Columbus and Chicago will have a DGW — but for the most part we’ll be playing a more typical fantasy game with teams playing just once each week. No longe...[Read More]
MLS GW16 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer
MLS GW16 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer As it turns out, GW15 wasn’t all that scary after all, was it? There were two sides to GW15; on the one side, the limited options made it hard to score truly great points — and on the other side, the limited options made it hard to make too many mistakes. As a result, those who fully participated in the round probably did OK for themselves. GW16 is a bit of a different animal though. We now only have two teams on a bye (Chicago and Columbus) and no teams on a DGW. And that all-important massive GW17 is now just a stone’s throw away. So ho...[Read More]
