Fantasy Football Pottys Predictions Gameweek 6

Fantasy Football Pottys Predictions Gameweek 6 Well Pottys Bookie’s was mightily impressed by the response to our Mwk 5 Competition as 47 of you entered and in doing so put some much needed money into the till, I invested these takings in a polar fleece as I am bloody froze after returning from warmer climes last Thursday. Onto this weekends beauty so let’s play….

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 6 – Differentials

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 6 – Differentials We probably say this every season, but it really does feel as though it’s taking a long time for things to settle down in this season’s FPL. Take a look at the defences and you’ll see that Southampton, Villa & Burnley have all kept three clean sheets but in all honesty you’re unlikely to have fielded Villa & Burnley defenders in all of the games in which they kept clean sheets. The midfield has proved a little more straightforward but picking forwards has proved a nightmare with Diego Costa the only big hitter to consistently...[Read More]

Captains Picks Gameweek 6

Captain’s Picks Fantasy Football Gameweek 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15 We’ve all been there. “If only there were two of me.” Your multiple selves could alternate going to work or if you’re workaholics get a job each and rake in twice the pay. You could step out onto the tennis court and practice both your serve and return in the same exchange. Heck, you could even become the next Proclaimers. With so many benefits, is it any wonder Narcissus fell in love with his own reflection? Last week two FPL bosses, we’ll call them Joe and Joel to avoid conf...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek 6

Fantasy Football Fixtures Gameweek 6 – Fantasy Premier League 2014 Your weekly ‘Fixtures’ article is having an overhaul! Nothing drastic but we feel that it may be easier and more pertinent to concentrate on the next three fixtures of each team rather than spread it too thinly over six fixtures. Time moves so quickly in fantasy terms and a hot property now may be a dead duck come five weeks time so we are going to keep it tighter, which may hopefully be of more use to you. We will still display the next six fixtures for each team in the fixture tracker graphic but in our anal...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 5 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15 The deadline bell has rung and your decisions are now final! This could actually be a tough week for fantasy managers. A lot of the usual, ‘obvious’ candidates are away from home and even those that aren’t have difficult games on paper. Arsenal, Liverpool, Southampton, Man Utd and Chelsea are all on the road while Swansea and Man City are at home but are by no means guaranteed anything, facing Southampton and Chelsea respectively. QPR and Stoke kick us off at 12.45pm in the early Saturday game...[Read More]

FF247 Team Gameweek 5

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Gameweek 5 GW4 went pretty well for us as we scored 64pts, 12pts above the average. Bearing in mind we captained the benched Raheem Sterling, who’s 30min cameo produced just 2pts for us, we were relatively happy, if somewhat annoyed with Brendan Rodgers! Our main performers were Fabregas, Costa and Di Maria late on in the gameweek, while Aguero chipped in with a goal and Alderweireld grabbed us a clean sheet on his debut. Poor returns from Mannone, Moreno, Wilson, Siggy and Welbeck were disappointing, but everyone has players with low scoring weeks and are par...[Read More]

Team Talk Fantasy Football GW5

Team Talk Fantasy Football GW5 Welcome to GW5 and it’s at this point that the leagues are starting to take shape, both in the Premier League and also in our own little fantasy world. Whether your captain choice made or broke your GW4, it’s time to move on, re-focus and knuckle down to the joys that await us this week. It’s a lovely short 2-day gameweek that kicks off Saturday lunchtime as QPR and Stoke hope to put disappointing defeats behind them at the Loft. Four 3pm matches follow as Arsenal travel to Aston Villa, Burnley welcome Sunderland, bottom of the table Newcastle h...[Read More]

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 5

Kops Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 5 With the Champions League having kicked off it means we are now into the season of rotation and it started last weekend with many fantasy managers suffering a kick in the teeth as Brendan Rodgers chose to rest Raheem Sterling ahead of the visit of the mighty Ludogorets on Tuesday night. What this goes to prove is that that fantasy football is a squad game and that over the coming weeks and months those cheap bench players we all own are likely to become more important. Slowly but surely we are starting to see patterns develop which should in theory make o...[Read More]
