Tips Gameweek 13
GW12 saw Man City destroy Spurs at the Etihad and it would now appear as though AvB has the same problems as us fantasy managers when it comes to spending £100m! That result just illustrates how difficult this season has been from a fantasy perspective as who could have predicted such an outcome prior to the game. Things are not going to get any easier for us over the coming weeks with the likes of Wenger and Mourinho talking about rotating their squads which means that a fully functioning bench is going to be of the upmost importance for us all. With that in mind, we here in FF247 have put on...[Read More]
Suspension Report Gameweek 13
Saturdays fixtures saw two straight red cards brandished in GW12. Firstly, after almost two years out with injury, Wes Brown’s return to action was short lived, as after just 35 mins of his second start of the season, he was dismissed for – well, for a perfectly good challenge! Fortunately for Wes an Independent Regulatory Commission (yeah right!) have overturned the red card, and no suspension will need to be served. N.B. Although the red card has been rescinded, owners of Wes will not get the -3 points back.

Gameweek 12 Review
Saturday review Everton 3-3 Liverpool Saturday’s early kick off saw the 221st meeting in all competitions for the Merseyside club’s with Roberto Martinez looking to mastermind Everton’s 1st derby win in the Premier League since October 2010. With Daniel Sturridge on the bench for Liverpool the Reds were banking on a performance from Luis Suarez in this often volatile fixture and it took just 5 minutes for him to provide the assist for Philippe Coutinho to open the scoring. Just 3 minutes later and it was all square when Leighton Baines whipped in a free-kick and Kevin Mirallas fired past...[Read More]
Ever wondered how last seasons top 2 are getting on so far this year?
We are very honoured to welcome two very special guests to FF247 to conduct out first ever interview on the site. Matt Martyniak & Kelvin Travers battled tooth and nail in last season’s FPL, with Matt claiming the ultimate victory on the last day of the season to claim victory by the narrowest of margins to become the 2012/13 global FPL Champion, with Kelvin runner-up. But with all other managers now looking to knock Matt & Kelvin “off their perch”, how are they dealing with this season’s FPL? Is it easier due to lessons learnt or harder as they are “up there to be shot down”? Well, ...[Read More]
Sunday Review – Gameweek 12
Manchester City 6-0 Tottenham Manchester City might have their troubles when on the road, however when they play at the Etihad, they certainly turn it on. The Spurs defence has been very tight of late and so no one would have predicted the massacre that was to occur. After only 14 seconds City had their first as Jesus Navas started the rot and it was all downhill from then on for Spurs. Alvaro Negredo got involved in the action as he got City’s second and then Sergio Aguero got the goal he deserved to make it 3 after converting a pass from Navas. A neat interchange between Negredo and Ya...[Read More]

Tips Gameweek 12
So here we are 11 game-weeks into the season and what have we learned? That fantasy football can be extremely frustrating, but sure we knew that already! The season began in a very topsy turvy fashion making it difficult for many of us to select our teams, but normal order is slowly being restored and the cream is starting to rise to the top. Despite this, it doesn’t make selecting your squad any easier, in fact it could even make things more difficult and because of this we have come up with a number of player suggestions which we hope you will find beneficial in your endeavours to select the...[Read More]
