Game-week 4 is over and the International Break is under way, for many (including the FF247 team) this means wildcard time. So if you are looking for a bit of help on your new squad or simply feel the need to discuss any future transfers, you have come to the right place. We will also be receiving managers in need of a shoulder to cry on. Because frankly, after this 4 week span a tear or two is understandable.
So please feel free as ever, to post your thoughts, questions and feelings about whatever you want to, but in particular if you would like others to take a look at your team ahead of GW5 and beyond and offer their opinions. Please post or link it below and we are sure you will get plenty of feedback. Some of which may actually be constructive, but we can’t promise anything!

Arsenal have been rather quiet throughout this transfer period…anyone else intrigued by this?
Not really, least of all Goonies themselves. Happens every time.
Arsenal are the only club in any of Europe s top 5 leagues not to sign a single outfield player. Expect some protests if it ends that way, after all, what do we pay the highest prices for?
Captain, back to Martial and are you surprised that Wenger has not gone for him. Or does Wenger know something United don’t? Or just overpriced for him?
Only asking as I’m surprised, if this lad is as good as some make out, then Wenger wouldn’t have sniffed him out first – after all, he knows French football, particularly down south, better than most.
Arsenal had been linked with Martial earlier in the summer but that would have been far too much of a risk for Wenger, considering the fee involved.
No not surprised. As I said, Wenger wouldn’t over pay for a player. To me Martial is very similar to Welbeck, same physical attributes but struggling to finish consistently. We shall see but I dont see LVG as being great with youngsters. Look at Januzai for example.
The Januzaj loan was strange, particularly as LVG had played him this season. I assumed that meant Reus was coming, but the “reports” are the board wouldn’t sanction the move yesterday. All a bit strange.
Most of Uniteds dealings were strange. You can see LVG face at Giggs when Hernadez missed the penalty was an “I told you so” look, but they sold, loaned out so many forwards I was sure somebody would come in. Same with Arsenal, Podolski, Sanogo, Akpom all moved on leaving just Giroud as a recognised striker. Yes Walcott can play there but only in certain games it seems. Well anyway, 2 hours left, would love to see some major shocks but like last year it wont happen.
If a top striker was available then I’m sure they would have done something else this window.
A number of top strikers were available. The problem is Wenger will never over pay, Barcelona wanted to sell Sanchez, Madrid wanted to sell Ozil thats the only reason we got them.
Trouble is that no club is going to actively want to sell a world class striker.
Martinez, Lacazette, Higuain, Benteke even Ibra were all obtainable.. True not many actively want to sell thats why you have to pay over the odds to force their hands.

But how many of those strikers would you be willing to over pay for though? They all have question marks over them. Some are quite old, or unproven or not that much better than what we have already.
Just a love/hate relationship w/ Wenger for most Gooners. C’mon Arsene, sign us someone to get us excited for the season, you POS! See what I mean…

Based on form i’m pretty happy with my team but I have 2 FT
Would appreciate any advice these are my current thoughts
Either Sako>mane then cresswell> alders
or alder> cresswell then richards > target

Looking at Palace’s fixtures I’d keep Mane, to be honest I dont think you need to make any transfers but if I absolutly had to I would downgrade Alderweield to a 4.5m and swap Kone for Wilson.
