Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 28. And then there were 8… If you’re arriving here wondering what on earth the above title is about then you either haven’t been paying attention or you are in for a big shock; basically Arsenal, Aston Villa, Man City and Sheffield United aren’t with us this week due to the Milk Cup final on Sunday. We do still have a relatively full GW which spans 3 days though and it begins on Friday evening with Leicester licking their lips at the prospect of facing a now notoriously leaky Norwich. We have the usual Saturday structure beginning with a lunchtime KO between Brighton and Palace before Bournemouth welcome Chelsea, Burnley go to Newcastle and West Ham host the Saints, all...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW28

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW28 Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW28 Happy Days… Up and down we go, this week saw a small green arrow, which simply restores the damage we did last week, which destroyed the good from the week before. You get the picture, basically we are stuck hovering around the 100k mark, 103,391 now to be exact. GW27 saw us end up on 58 points and a rise of about 17k places, which ironically was the exact score we recorded in GW26 which saw us plummet a similar amount. FPL, eh… As with most people this week we had to wait until Liverpool played on Monday to fill our points bag, which probably made little difference really, but for the record our trio brought us 28, which was just shy of 50% of our total. Elsewhere Pope and Stephens returned clean-...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 28

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 28 Welcome to Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 28. The god-awful Winter break is thankfully a distant memory, just as well, as we’re officially heading into silly season (proper) as the first of the end of season blanks and doubles begin this very game-week. Hopefully, everyone who spends any time here has been well aware for some weeks now, you’ve planned it all out, you can still get a full 11 out without hits and all is calm. If not, spend a few minutes panicking, take a few hits and make a note to not make the same mistake again next season (this is more a note to self). I’ll be completely ignoring Liverpool in this article, by now you either have your 3 Liverpool players or you’re a glutton for punishment. I’ll not be totally ignoring the blanking teams as...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW28. The key to consistent success in this competition is to forgo the hope of a weekly prize and instead focus on average to good weekly scores, the key to this, is sticking to 0-0, 1-1 and 2-1’s. Feel free to chuck in an occasional 3 now and then – we only live once right? Usually, it works, usually five sides don’t score three goals. So that’s my excuses in for my pitful 6pts this week, if only so many of you didn’t hit double-digits it might hold some weight. Our winner this week was Perun86 with 16 points, which included correctly picking Giroud as FGS. Second-spot was a tie between Albox and COYS with a very solid 15pts. There were a few 13 and 11 pointers ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 28

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 28 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 28 It’s all red again. And a bit of blue… For the most part GW27 was a bit drab affair and it’s fair to say that it wasn’t really livened up much until Liverpool did what they do and destroyed limped past West Ham on Monday evening and with it masking bumping up many an FPL score to something nearing respectability, mainly due to the flurry of armbands on display in that one. Last week three of our panel took (understandably) a Liverpool asset under their arm, with the outlier being Smash and his pick of Jimenez who got him a goal but also a yellow meaning that his captaincy score sat at 10. Which at one point during Monday night looked like it may actually take the gold. U...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 28

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 28 There are many things that can descend quickly: the value of the pound, the hopes of Aston Villa fans after yet another loss and, seemingly, my FPL rank. Now, those in the same league as me may have little to no sympathy when I say I have had a good run up until the last few weeks with the heady heights of 9,795 as an overall rank just one month ago. Indeed, my latest position of 35,121 before the Liverpool game is certainly nothing to be depressed about, either. But red arrows are red arrows and so four consecutive weeks of them can still make you feel as beleaguered as Chelsea fans when Giovani Lo Celso didn’t receive that red card on Saturday. So, as we face just 11 remaining gameweeks of this rollercoaster of a season, we get to the real bu...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 27. After what was the longest ever FPL game-week on record we return to normality this week with a relatively brisk three ‘dayer’. Chelsea and Spurs kick us off on Saturday lunchtime as Jose once again returns to Stamford Bridge, but this time it’s war, according to his hair anyway. We have four 3pm games as Burnley welcome Bournemouth, Palace and Newcastle provide a welcome gimme 0-0 for our gamblers, The Lord will look to further troll Gavy and co against Brighton and Grealish takes Villa to the seaside as part of their FPL farewell tour. A 2nd vs 3rd clash sees us out on Saturday to see who will become which by the end of the season. We have three games on Sunday with Man Utd &...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW27

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW27 Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW27. “Sacked in the morning, you’re getting sacked in the morning” ….the home crowd sang as we suffered another red arrow dropping from 106,713 to 120,867 after scoring 58pts in GW26. At least we beat the average… by 2pts. In fairness to the crowd they are probably frustrated that we sold the goal-scoring Lundstram for Stephens. The dreaded vote of confidence was delivered from the board this week – never a good sign. We were again indebted to our Liverpool defenders, Grealish and Ings to steady the ship while KDB weighed in with 14pts late on. Capo Salah failed, while Vardy and Maddison look horribly out of form but have excellent fixtures on the horizon. Tough decisions will need to be ma...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 27

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 27 Welcome to Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 27. Only in England and the PL could a winter break not equate to no football. I haven’t checked, but I suspect in all other European leagues which take a ‘winter break’ the league effectively closes down. But not the PL, no they just invented a farce. The farce carried over into FPL and the never-ending game-week that at the time of writing is still not over. **** me, it’s been tedious! Had FPL made GW26 into two separate game-weeks things could have been much more interesting but instead they made it as boring as possible. That’s enough about GW26, onto GW27. I’ve decided to ignore Liverpool and the four teams (City, Villa, Arsenal & Sheffield United) who blank in GW28 as I expect most people will already hav...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW27

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW27 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW27. My Go, that was one long gameweek! Yes, I know the ‘winter’ break is there to give the players a well-deserved rest and that the English FA is years behind the rest of Europe in terms of giving their players a break. The break hadn’t even started before we saw controversy as Klopp was adamant his players were not going to play in the FA cup replay and this rubbed a lot of people up the wrong way, the Shrewsbury CEO in particular. Well Liverpool came out the other end of that replay with a win so that was good! We then turned our attention to the Premier League and more controversy as Storm Ciara came in and gave everyone (Rosco) a right good scare. Man City and We...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 27

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 27 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 27. We begin with our now usual analysis of last week’s picks, more out of interest as to whether our pundits were genuine in their choices than whether they were actually right or not! Init went for Kun and true enough he followed suit and actually bought him and put the armband on him. Whether that bears fruit or not we are yet to discover as GW26 still plays out behind us, despite our best efforts to ignore it! Our other ‘truther’ was Matt who not only tipped Salah, captained him himself, and stuck the TC on him as promised… Poor Matt. Kop gave us Son and Smash gave us TAA. Both went with Salah themselves, and both with KDB as vice. Both got what they deserved then for l...[Read More]
