FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 4 Welcome to FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 4. Shiny Old Toys Ok then class, hands up, who did well with their armband last week? Cue silence. A week for the differential, evidently. The answer was of course Vardy as he was top scorer and would have netted you a cool 34. But he was away vs Man City, and given the alternatives he wasn’t exactly top of most peoples list. Top of our list last week were Jimenez with 0 points, Kdb and Werner with 4 and Kane and Salah with a slightly more respectable, but still rather dissapointing 10. And all that was doubled. FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 3 Welcome to FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 3 There were goals and assists galore last week, unfortunately not that many from the obvious picks! To illustrate how odd it got we had 4 picks for you in GW2 and they managed 1 goal and 2 assists between them. Kane got a goal and 4 assists all on his own. KDB was probably the least obvious of our picks and he accounted for 2/3 of those ‘returns’. Or to put it another way, when Leicester score 4 and Vardy is involved in exactly none of the goals you know it’s going to be one of those weeks. Last week’s ‘Capos’ article began as follows, “Captain choices often make or break a game-week, nail it and you can be in the forties before you even begin to look at the rest”. How apt this was as a certain Mo Salah went and smashed home an opening day hat-trick and all those ‘lucky’ managers who gave him the armband grabbed 40pts.
