It only took me six rounds to get my act together, but I followed my own advice (finally) and just loaded up on the smart plays instead of trying to think outside the box. Choo choo, all aboard the Kun train… Best hope he starts then or there will be fantasy managers throwing themselves under it at about one minute past 2pm today! FF247 Fantasy Football Team Gameweek 6 Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Team Gameweek 6. We got 3 clean sheets this week. That is, unfortunately, just about the top and bottom of our highlights this week. Yeah ok, Lukaku brought us some points but it’s difficult to celebrate that when he brought almost everybody else the same points too. Likewise with Groß and his assist. We made 2 transfers last week and neither were a success with both Alli and Choupo-Moting coming in and both doing screw all for us. Alli got us a clean sheet bonus point and that was the highlight of our transfers, which says it all really. We scored 53 points. We began in a semi respectable 173k. It was pointed out to me last week that I have a habit of answering questions that I pose to myself. Do I care? I do not. FF247 Fantasy Football Team Gameweek 5 Welcome to FF247 Fantasy Football Team Gameweek 5. We compiled 60 points this week and that put us 16 points above the average. The GW rank was 500K, but it felt better than that as we jumped from 600k to 170k in the overall. With our captain Lukaku scoring, Kane grabbing a brace and Groß with a huge 18 point haul it was a good game-week for us all in all, well except for the Davies controversy. As some of you might know there was a late question posed to us from a member on the board asking why we were benching Davies instead of Ince. This is only my second Captain Picks article but in my last article 4 out of my 7 picks either scored, assisted or both; so hopefully I can continue this trend with my picks below. Last weekend we saw some new players settling into their teams and their new surroundings in the first gameweek after the International Break and the closing of the transfer window.
