Fixture Analysis – Game-week 23, FPL Fantasy Premier League

FAVOURABLE FIXTURES Fixture Analysis – Gameweek 23, FPL Fantasy Premier League MANCHESTER UNITED – Cardiff (H), Stoke (A), Fulham (H), Arsenal (A) Oh dear, where to begin?! Well, their next three fixtures might be a start as they are quite tasty. On paper. Surely, surely Moyes’ boys will be able to pick up a few welcome points from this lot? Cardiff are rock bottom and without a win in their last eight away games, losing the last four so this really should be a home banker despite the recent rocky form for United. Similarly the visit to Stoke sees them face a side who are without a...[Read More]

So hold fast to your convictions ladies and gents, and stay your course, as you fight your way up the league rankings. The Season League The festive season is now but a distant memory, though the dark winter nights remain – perhaps more for some managers than others… Wildcards have been pl...[Read More]

FF247 League – An interview with the leaders. FPL Fantasy Premier League

While we enjoy a week off from FPL, we have been very lucky to catch up with two managers of FPL, who are both having a fantastic season. Barntons Bashers or B-Bash, as you will more readily recognise him, and James101, are sitting pretty at nos. 1 & 2 in the FF247 league, but even more impressively, B-Bash is in 53rd position in the world, while James, is sitting pretty in 628th position. If you’re impressed by that, consider that this is only B-Bash’s second season playing FPL, while it is James’ 3rd. Both B-Bash & James have very kindly agreed to share their thoughts on the season s...[Read More]

The Predictions Competition was won by elleffcee whose 2 correct scores backed up with a fine predicted 1st goalscorer time, won him the weekly Free £10 Ladbrokes Bet. Meanwhile, Monday’s “Lucky 4’s” was a joint win between Mito and Griff (Ajax Trees).  I said you may need a garage for this prize so once they have both contacte...[Read More]

Gameweek 22 Review, the story so far. FPL Fantasy Premier League

Sunderland 2-2 Southampton Both these clubs have had recent mixed fortunes, Sunderland are having a mini revival under manager Gus Poyet and the Saints have been hit with Board Room in-fighting which has seen the departure of Chairman Nicola Cortese. The match itself had everything set in place for a great battle and we were not to be disappointed with Adam Johnson’s goal helping complete a cracking fight-back by the Black Cats, who had been two goals down within the first half hour. The game had barely begun when Saints Jay Rodriguez got on the score sheet with their first shot when he ...[Read More]
