Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13. With the quick turnaround, we’ll keep things short and sweet this week and dive straight into the winners! First place in last weeks predictions was a tie between Shinespark and Hammerfan who both netted 10pts. Whilst Shinespark guessed first goal scorer Klich, his prediction of the 49th minute was not as close as Hammerfan’s 12th-minute prediction, which was enough to seal the deal for him. Our very own master of mischief Mito grabbed the third spot with 9pts. Notable mentions to M.Salah, Mahelmy, Redmen, Treacle, Frenchie and Igy who all came close to the podium with 8pts. And so; Many Congratulations to Hammerfan. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.u...[Read More]

Saturday comes to an end when the struggling Everton takes on high scoring Chelsea. Sunday brings an end to the gameweek with 5 meh fixtures. FF247 FPL Team GW12

FF247 FPL Team GW12 Welcome to FF247 FPL Team Gameweek 12 Gotta captain KDB, right? And I quote… “Captain – KdB Less confusion about this one, in fact none. We would imagine that most people who own him will come to the same conclusion” – FPL Site Team article GW11 We captained Vardy accidently – in fact, no one noticed until our h2h opponent let us know on site that our team captain was different from the published article. Initial bursts of laughter gave way to headshakes, a little aroused suspicion flitted through the offices that we may have a rogue member within and then finally the acceptance and a dawning that we may have accidently struck gold here if KdB blanks. Perhaps this is the accidental kick-start our limping season needs? Still, like a pack of ravenous wolves, w...[Read More]

FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 12

FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 12 Welcome to FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 12. Whisper it quietly but some semblance of reality may be emerging. Both in normal life and also in FPL. If we had told you last week that KDB would be our best pick, Vardy wouldn’t be far behind, Bruno would put in a MOTM performance and JWP would get an assist, then you’d probably have said that sounds about right, in normal times. That it came to pass possibly tells us that things are settling down a tad. As is now usual, let’s see how our panel in GW11 fared, pretty much as above in fairness: Rosco — KDB, 28 (captain powered) points. No surprise here as he got a goal and his obligatory assist to aid 3 BPs for a bit of a haul. Init — Vardy, 16 points. A late, late goal and with it 3 BPs salvaged him,...[Read More]

FPL Tips Gameweek 12

FPL Tips Gameweek 12 Welcome to FPL Tips Gameweek 12 Now we’re into the festive season – it’s official now, the Christmas tree and various other decorations have been put up, though the cat is doing his best to pull them down – the fixtures start to come thick and fast. So, I’m already dishing out advice as soon as the first paragraph: there will be rotation, bear that in mind with both your starting XI and a playing bench to pick up any pieces. As we have the added Grinch of Covid-19 still lingering on, there’s also the spectre of games like the Villa versus Newcastle game being called off as the players and staff test positive. Anyway, presuming we have all 10 of the merry fixtures of Gameweek 11, I’ll dispense my advice from my very own meandering experience – previous article reference...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. Crystal Palace’s 1-5 win away to West Brom was the only match to break too far away from the expected norm. We had the usual smattering of 2-1’s (although both technically 1-2’s), just three clean sheets (the usual suspects in City, Liverpool and Spurs) and just a solitary draw (Burnley v Everton). So, how did this week’s predictions go? Matt tells me that it was a battle to the death (or words to that effect) between Jamie Mc, Gear, Pjlill, Mosc, MBD, and Ivan who all scored 12pts. No one correctly predicted this week’s FGS (understandable as it was Robbie Brady) However MDB did correctly predict that it would come in the 3rd minute and takes top-spot...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 11. Friday gets the action started with one fixture when Villa play host to whatever Covid-free players Newcastle can spare. One can only assume that the game was played by itself so it wouldn’t infect any of the other fixtures. Oh well, scrap that… We begin with Saturday bringing us four responsible fixtures. Burnley welcomes in the struggling Toffees, City continues their scoring revenge tour when they likely pulverise Fulham. The Hammers look to stop Bruno, just Bruno really. Then in the final match up of the day we see Chelsea tangle with Leeds. Sunday gives four more encounters. It kicks off with a West Brom and Palace snoozer. That is followed by last place Sheffield Utd who ...[Read More]

FF247 FPL Team GW11

FF247 FPL Team GW11 Welcome to FF247 FPL Team GW11 Tea or Dinner? Clearing the weekly average by more than just a sliver of daylight was a refreshing change for us in GW10. We scored 57 points which was a full 13 above the average of 44. That’s more like it! We had three tens, a nine and an eight among our lot and shoutouts go to Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Jamie Vardy (all 10) – although JV9 needed the armband to achieve his – then onto Diogo Jota (9) and Ben Chilwell (8). The rest, well the least said the better with no fewer than FIVE 2-pointers which at least was better than Scott Dann with his big fat zero. We now look towards next week and the obvious Aston Villa/Newcastle issue which of course affects us too! We have Grealish and Targett missing for this game-week so ho...[Read More]

Temporary Buildings for Football Events

Temporary Buildings for Football Events What comes to your mind when you think of temporary buildings? Some claim that they are not durable while others say that they are hard to maintain. However, temporary buildings have always provided the same benefits as permanent buildings. They are relatively affordable and easy to setup and maintain. We all know that renting or buying a permanent building is expensive for most people, especially if you are thinking of hosting a football event. So, why not put up a temporary building which will not only save you money but also create enough space for all the audience? With that in mind, let us look at temporary buildings for football events. What Are Temporary Buildings? They are structures that are built within a short period, using temporary mater...[Read More]

FPL Tips Gameweek 11

FPL Tips Gameweek 11 Welcome to FPL Tips Gameweek 11. “So, you think you can Fantasy Football? I’m sure you do and I’m sure you can”* But this is a different kind of football we’re watching. Trends and statistics still apply but with no public in the stands cheering the home boys or booing the away team (and the ref) they are not as reliable. Strange and unpredictable events have happened as we’ve seen with Leicester beating City 2-5 or Villa beating Liverpool 7-2 and heck Tottenham are top of the league… We work with what we have nonetheless and GW 11 promises to be a high scoring one in terms of FPL points. Do bear in mind though before making any moves that the Aston Villa vs Newcastle game has been postponed and that there has been a midweek Champions League and...[Read More]

FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 11

FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 11 Welcome to FPL Captain Picks Gameweek 11 Assist Kings? To be fair, four assists from your chosen Captain isn’t a bad return. Kane got something similar earlier in the season, although he did also add a goal as a cherry on that assist cake. However… notice the lack of a plural in our opening sentence there? Hmmmm, yep. This was four assists from all of our chosen Captain’s! And there were no cherries. To be fair to last week’s writers it was a bit of a sh*t show of a week all round. But in our time honoured tradition let’s review how they fared: Init – DCL, 4 (captain) points. Less DCL, more Dominic Cummings (buggered off when most needed). Swirly – Vardy, 10 points. Less party, more a party banger fizzling out. 1 assis...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11. It’s only taken 10 weeks but I think we can finally say with confidence that results have returned to the mean. 2-1 is a classic scoreline and normally the safest prediction in any given match, this week we had three of them. Throw in a 1-1, a couple of 1-0’s and the annual Man City 5 Burnley 0 and things look positively, well, normal. This week we have our first Covid Postponement, Villa v Newcastle as of now is no longer a part of GW11. Should it be moved to next week (and still fall within GW11) by all means predict the score, but it won’t be counted towards this week’s totals. On to the Winners. Top-spot this week is IzzatAziz with a very impressive 16pt...[Read More]
