The Christmas fixtures started so well, green arrows in GW19 and 20, but quickly followed by two reds in 21 and 22 resulting in ending up pretty much back where I started. No early kick-offs or fancy ‘Friday Night Football’ to confuse matters, with 6 fixtures played at the traditional 3 o’clock Saturday slot. Those predicting the first goal scorer suffered accordingly.
