Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 And so from a week with many, many games in which so few players actually bothered to turn up to a week with far less games but hopefully more actual players. If that makes sense! GW35 is the one which has been commonly referred to as the ‘blank week’. So much so you’d be forgiven for thinking that all the fixtures had been cancelled, which of course isn’t the case. There are indeed 6 teams without a game this week but that means there are 14 who do still play. There may only be 7 games...[Read More]

FF247 Team Game-week 35

Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 35 That turned out nicely! Like many we attacked DGW34, played our Bench Boost chip and ended up with 173pts, which is by far our highest weekly score of the season and has rocketed us up to a rank of 110,894. Still not where we’d like to be, but bearing in mind seven game-weeks ago we were languishing in an embarrassing 900k place, we’ve done ok and had a great run. Let’s hope we can finish off the job and keep rising. So how was our week. Well, where do we start? Let’s get Liverpool out of the way! Having been Klopped by rotation in their first match of ...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixtures Game-week 36

Fantasy Football Fixtures Game-week 36 Well, that fairly brought us back down to earth, eh? Following on from DGW34’s bonanza hauls and colossal scoring, where the average was a handsome 79 points, the blank week was an all too familiar one. An abysmal average of just 39 speaks for itself really and matters weren’t helped by another batch of unpredictable results. Arsenal whiffed against a somewhat resurgent Black Cats team, Liverpool threw away a two goal lead to draw with Newcastle and most surprisingly, title contenders Tottenham bottled it against West Brom of all teams, at hom...[Read More]

Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 35

Team Talk Fantasy Football Game-week 35 Welcome to game-week 35 and the quote “After every storm, there is a rainbow. If you have eyes, you will find it. If you have wisdom, you will create it” springs to mind. Whereas we had 15 fixtures spread over six consecutive days in DGW34, GW35 brings us just the seven matches, due to the FA Cup semi-finals. That’s not to say that there isn’t important points to be won, just don’t expect the bonanza that was generally seen last week. Bench Boosts are unlikely to be used this week, though the Triple Captain maybe an option for som...[Read More]

Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 35

Captain Picks Fantasy Football Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 A change of scenery for me this week. With no fixtures write up to be done and a capo writer harder to come by than an Irish summer, I decided to take the plunge and see what all the fuss is about. The first thought was why on earth was the blank week the one to jump in on? What an idiot. Then the happy realisation that of all the blank teams there was absolutely nothing, other than maybe Payet, of note missing from this weeks selection. Happy days. The man with glass in his hammys, one Sergio Aguero, was the sh...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 35

Fantasy Football Tips Game-week 35 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16 As I sit here writing another bleedin’ intro, DGW34 has yet to come to a conclusion. Unfortunately. It was the double game-week that promised so much but for many of us but it has been something of a disappointment, for some. We saved our wildcards, our Bench Boost & Triple Captain chips so we could attack the double with all guns blazing. Unfortunately many of the PL managers had not read the script and decided that this was the week to rotate with my mate Jurgen being the biggest culprit. If we’re honest with ourse...[Read More]

MLS GW7 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer

MLS GW7 Tips – Fantasy Major League Soccer MLS DEADLINE GW7 – Saturday April 23rd 9pm – UK GMT Time Let’s start off with the good news: GW7 doesn’t start until Saturday this week. There will be no Friday game that will require you to lock in your transfers prior to getting as many details about potential lineups as possible. The bad news? We just went through one of the most “MLS’y” of all MLS DGWs – and we have another DGW ahead on the horizon. I catch a lot of heat for being so negative about the DGWs in a general sense. Personally, I don’t care for them all that much...[Read More]
