Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 37

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 37 Welcome to Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 37. DGW37 Tips And so it is upon us. It is the final double gameweek of the season and the biggest one as well. In reality this will be the week where you make your final dash to clinch that mini-league or perhaps break your personal best in the overall rankings. On the chip front if you have three left then you’re doing it wrong! You will lose one. We only have two weeks left and the smart FPL players will either be playing their Triple Captain Chip (See James’ brilliant summary of the choices in his Captain’s Article) or you will have your Bench Boost in hand with the chance to have up to fifteen players playing twice – that’s 30 ‘shots’ at point scoring – and how d...[Read More]

Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW37

Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW37 Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW37. GW36 started badly for FPL managers and B&P predictors alike. Liverpool couldn’t manage to break down the not-so-mighty Stoke, and all those who had backed Salah to score (first) collectively moaned in unison. The most notable result of the game-week was Palace putting 5 past Leicester without reply. Literally nobody predicted that. I’m pretty sure nobody reads these intro’s but if you do, let me know what sort of things you would like more of next season, as lets face it, you probably all know the scores of the previous game-week without my blathering! GW36 RESULT This week’s big winner was my fellow Chuckle Brother Matt. I can’t even shout fix as the Boss-man (Init) did the number crunching on this...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 37

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 37 Welcome to Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 37. One mans struggle in the real world. Saturday 19th May 2018 (One week post-FPL) Gordon perched on his stool and surveyed the array of options laid out on the breakfast bar in front of him. He just couldn’t decide what to have. His wife stuck her head around the door, she looked different somehow, he wasn’t sure how, just different. “Hurry up, you do this every Saturday, we need to be in car by 11.30”. Gordon checked his watch, 10.35, plenty of time. He went back to staring at the colourful array of boxes in front of him. The stupid thing was he’d made the decision about what to have days ago, but when he’d reached for the box of Cornflakes he found there wasn’t enough left for a bowl; so...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 37

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 37 2017/18 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 37. It’s the Triple Captain Kane gameweek. Why are you here? It’s obvious. This is GW37 we’re talking about, by the way, not GW22: that was definitely a different DGW scenario. I recall Kane going into that one with two consecutive hat-tricks. Not exactly Triple Captain material, really, was it… this time, with just 2 (actually FPL-accredited) goals in his last 7 appearances, he’ll surely meet expectations. I think that’s how this works? More to come regarding Harry soon. For now, though, please muster the strength to read this and give your penultimate push for work-league glory or, perhaps most importantly, pride. Harry Claim vs WBA (A) and Newcastle (H) I won’t mess around. I’ll captain...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 36. Back to normality this week – 10 fixtures spread over three days, everyone plays just the once, no doubles, no blanks, probably a few wildcards. It’s Liverpool who again kick off our game-week as they host relegation bound Stoke. It’s a must win for the Potters if they are to have any realistic chance of staying up….Crouchie time? Five 3pm kick offs and it’s all about the relegation battle as Brighton go to Burnley, Palace host Leicester, Huddersfield welcome Everton, West Brom travel to Newcastle and Bournemouth can inflict further trouble on fellow south coasters Southampton. The evening sees Swansea looking for a much needed three points as Chelsea come to town. Sunday is Manc today. First u...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW36

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW36 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW36. It takes a lot for us to get excited and in fairness our performance this season hasn’t juiced us up on many occasions. However it seems that patience is indeed our virtue after a 72pt week in GW36. This gave our Free Hit team a weekly ranking of 23,903 and we have risen 50k places from 113,353 to a season’s best (by far) of 63,265. Forgive us for ‘boasting’, as such, but this is our 9th green arrow in a row. Happy days! Our performance this week was consistent throughout the team with only Klavan, Zaha, Mane and Wood failing to contribute anything worthwhile. Clean sheets from Baines and Tomkins added to goal-scoring performances from Sterling, Salah, Lacazette and Jesus along with bonu...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 36

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 36 Welcome to Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 36. Well, how was it for you then? I am, of course, talking about fantasy football – what else?! – and, in particular, Gameweek 35, where lots of managers no doubt looked in horror at their team as they realised they had three players starting. Others who had picked the right personnel within their free hit chip had contrasting emotions however! With so few teams playing – and so some of the season’s favourites like Kane, De Gea, Azpilicueta, Eriksen and Vardy not starting – it gave a good chance to mix things up a bit with the free hit chip, with players like Lacazette, both of Man City’s Silvas and even Livermore bringing the points in. Just 0.1 per cent of managers have Livermore, by the way, and honestly, would...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 36

Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 36 2017/18 Welcome to Fantasy Football Captain Picks Gameweek 36. I’ll be honest here I spent a good while looking at the fixtures to try and pick out a differential from one of the lower teams that still have ‘something to play for’ as Cookie would put it and I was close to including a West Brom player with the form they are in; but then I thought Init may kill me because why waste time on writing about players that no one in their right mind would have? Jay Rodriguez was the only West Brom player I had in my team this season, but that dream ended a long, long time ago. If you still have him because you started back in September, forgot your password and haven’t touched your team since, why not stick it on him? It’s the run in…. take a risk! Well th...[Read More]

Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW36

Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW36 Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW36. I’ll start this article with a special thanks to my fellow chuckle brother Barry (aka Matt) for picking up full responsibility for both the maths and writing responsibilities In my absence in GW34, love you bro. (Editor note: Errrr, you mean the editing team for doing Matt’s math and proofreading for him, right? right!?) There was a minor scheduling error with the incorrect first fixture for GW35, in light of that we have not included the first scorer points towards that game-week. Apologies. (Editor’s note: oh, it was all Matt, he deserves the credit.) With the last B&P’s covering two game-weeks, one of which was the DGW34, there are far too many fixtures to run through in great detail. T...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 36

Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 36 Welcome to Fantasy Football Fixture Analysis Gameweek 36. We are back with regular articles again. Well, probably for two weeks. Or maybe just this one. I just do as I am told. Writing articles at this time of the year is a bit strange; almost anyone could be playing in Gameweek 38. I would not be surprised to see Wenger dust off his boots for his farewell, so the focus of this article is really on Double Gameweek 37 and transfer planning from now until then. Wenger’s decision to part ways with Arsenal was probably overdue, but I cannot wait for Robbie and co pining for him to come back and replace Brendan Rodgers after a 6-0 hammering at the hands of Wolves in Gameweek 1 of the 2018/2019 campaign. To be fair to Arsene, his squad lacks de...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35 Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35. It’s very much after the Lord Mayor’s Show this week as we go from 14 fixtures over six successive days to just six matches this week due to the FA Cup semi-finals. It’s Liverpool who kick us off as they attempt to move closer to Man Utd when they travel to United’s conquerors West Brom at lunchtime. There is just one other game on Saturday as Crystal Palace take the shortish trip to Watford. Sunday sees three matches – West Ham go to Arsenal at the same time as Stoke host Burnley before Swansea get the chance to spoil Man City’s party at the Etihad. Our game-week finishes on Monday as Newcastle fans get the chance to reacquaint themselves with their hero ex-chief Big Sam as they visit Eve...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW35 Free Hit Special

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW35 Free Hit Special Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW35 Free Hit Special. We’ve taken a slightly different approach to our usually formulaic Site Team article this week, and this is why… Rather than deluge you with all sorts of different Tips and Captain Picks this week we thought it may be wiser to (almost) let the elongated DGW34 play out to its natural conclusion and then come in with a (relatively) simple look at GW35. Just in case you’ve been under a rock or something GW35 is also known as Blank GW35 as there are only 6 fixtures this week. Just to be completely prescriptive then the 6 fixtures, or 12 teams involved, are as follows – If this comes as some sort of a surprise to you… then said rock may be y...[Read More]
