Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW32 Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW32. It feels like GW31 was a long long time ago, so forgive me for being brief! The standout result was of course Liverpool’s 5-0 demolition of Watford, Mo Salah goes from strength to strength, if only Liverpool had played in the 3 o’clock kick-off so a few more would have got the first scorer correct! The only other really notable result was the Palace 0-2 win over Huddersfield which was a right kick in the teeth for anyone predicting success for the Terriers in either FPL or B&P’s (which is obviously way more important!). Some of them….Having kept us in suspense for four days longer than we thought, the Premier League have at last started to release the dates of the rearranged fixtures. We now have a clear picture of DGW34, while the specific dates for the remaining fixtures still have to be officially revealed, although most indicators point to these matches being accommodated into GW37. FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 31 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 31. It was duller than dull but somehow 42pts brought us another green arrow, our 6th in 7 weeks. We’re so good at this. Ah the rank, well we rose a small 2.5k to 166,358…. hmmm maybe we’re not that good! Those celebrated green arrows have seen us rise from 252k to 166k. Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW31 Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW31. It’s always nice when a player pops up with the first goal of the game-week that people simply did not see coming. Anyone have Marcus Rashford? No me either. Rashford scored the first goal in Man Utd 2-1 win; he then grabbed the second, as if to drive home the point. Other notable results were Swansea grabbing a 0-0 despite playing with 10 men for almost the full match, Chelsea chucking away a clean sheet at the death (2-1) and Arsenal finding their cojones not once, not twice but three times, not to mention Troy Deeney losing his. FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 30 Welcome to the FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team Gameweek 30. All in all GW29 was…..ok. Maybe slightly better than ok. We scored 58pts vs an average of 46 and rose 22.5k places to just 168,903. Ok that’s not great we know but it’s our highest rank for a good few weeks. We have some work to do to avoid our worst ever finish but we have all our chips available. Mahrez’s last gasp goal was especially satisfying as we only bought him last week – it was just a shame he ruined Begovic’s clean sheet but beggars can’t be choosers.
