UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2019/20 GW5 Last chance saloon Hello everyone and welcome to UEFA Champions League Fantasy Football 2019/20 GW5. ‘Last chance’ may be being over dramatic but with three teams already qualified, three who definitely can’t and a whole host of the remaining spots likely to be decided this week then this may be your last chance of seeing your ‘nailed on’ first team players in meaningful CL group stage action before rotation inevitably hits in GW6. The main purposes of this article are threefold; to remind you to do your team, to provide a separate CL space to ask for help and advice from the community (and to hopefully reciprocate in that aim) and lastly just somewhere to chat about the games as they happen; a CL Live Match Chat if you l...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Press Conference and Team News GW1

Fantasy Football Press Conference and Team News GW1 Welcome to Fantasy Football Press Conference and Team News GW1. Sometimes change is needed and not because you want to make it, simply because the current situation becomes untenable. This is the case for Predicted Line-ups. We know the line-ups themselves were a popular addition but in all honesty it was stretching us to a limit on a Friday. It also meant many key personnel hiding behind a computer screen for hours on end on the busiest day of the week trying to figure out such useful things as how Huddersfield would line up. Time best spent? We think not too. We’d much rather they be out and about getting involved in the chat and helping in that way. Facts and figures wise we stacked up as we were 76.3% accurate overall last seaso...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8

Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW8. Last week was one for the conservative predictors amongst you; 5 games finished 2-0 and only 2 teams score more than 2 goals. The only real surprise was the Hammers 3-1 victory over Man Utd, few saw that one coming, Jose included. Another landslide victory for Man City was predicted but didn’t come to fruition, and Everton finally kept a clean sheet, scoring 3 goals in the process. Other than that it was business as usual. Which is how it was for this weeks winner; DenPerryDidIt on 18pts. So often top of the weekly competition last season, he also went on to clinch the Joint top spot in the overall league. It could be time for a Harry and Llyod titan to head back to the top! In 2nd place was P...[Read More]

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW3

FF247 Fantasy Football Site Team GW3 Our game-week was ultimately personified by our last minute decision to change our captain from Aguero to Salah. Sure, Salah did ok, scoring 9pts on Monday night but once Kun had posted his 20pter we were relatively doomed. At least we owned Kun, plenty didn’t. We still scored ok, 74pts vs an average of 60 and it is only GW2. No need to panic, but I think we have learnt our lesson re JamieJacksongate! Richarlison, Mendy and Robertson were again superstars, while Shaw contributed an assist despite United’s horror show at Brighton. The rest of our motley crew were useless – Patricio, Eriksen, Cairney, King and Firmino should all be looking over their shoulders as our moody committee meets with two free transfers burning a hole in its pocket. Last WeekR...[Read More]

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 3

Fantasy Football Tips Gameweek 3   Hello everyone and welcome to your Tips article for this Fantasy Football Gameweek 3. It may just be me but at the time of sitting down to write this, I get the feeling that there have been a number of early moves made this week which in fact had me questioning the wisdom of putting so much effort in to such an article at any depth at all. Well, that and a general lethargy this week. But lucky for you, the kids are back in school and I suddenly and very definitely, not coincidently, have bundles of energy and I’m ready to take you through my fifteen (or so) names with my usual gusto. Based on the impression I have gleamed from following the site chat and the range of FPL heads on twitter, I took to the FPL site to check the most transferred in player...[Read More]
